(Minghui.org) Ms. Min Juan, in her 40s, from Yutai County, Shandong Province, has been held in the Jining Detention Center for over 30 days, exceeding the maximum detention term stipulated by law. The 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division authorities submitted Ms. Min's case to the Procuratorate and are planning to obtain a warrant for her arrest.
Ms. Min was tracked down by police with radio devices on April 9, 2014, in the Jining downtown area. She was using her cell phone, calling people to explain the facts about Falun Gong. She was illegally arrested by agents from the Jining Police Department and the Yutai Police Department Domestic Security Division. Her residence, in both Jining City and Yutai County were ransacked. Her computers, printers, informational DVDs about Falun Gong, cash and other miscellaneous items were confiscated.
Ms. Min Juan is an official at Yutai Rural and Urban Planning Bureau in Jining City. She began following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and striving to further upgrade her character, since she began practicing Falun Gong. She possesses strong professional abilities and performs her work duties with excellence. Her moral character is recognized by her boss and coworkers.
Ms. Min persevered in the practice, and in being a good person, despite Jiang's regime that began persecuting Falun Gong in 1999. Because of her diligence, she became one of the primary targets that the local 610 Office and Police Department authorities monitor.
