Four Falun Gong practitioners from Yiyang City, Hunan Province, Facing Second Trial

(Minghui.org) The Yiyang City Intermediate Court scheduled a second trial for Ms. Guo Lamei and Ms. Xiang Biyun from Yiyang, Ms. Leng Xuefei from Yueyang, and Ms. Zhao Fengxia from Taojiang County, for 2:30 p.m. on May 7, 2014.

The four practitioners were arrested by Dali Police Station officers early on May 5, 2013, for distributing information flyers about Falun Gong in Taojiang County. They were admitted to Yiyang Second Detention Center.

Some five months later, on October 16, 2013, Yiyang City Taojiang County Court tried them in secret. The practitioners refused to accept the verdict and appealed to Yiyang City Intermediate People's Court. They hired two lawyers to defend them on May 7, 2014.
