Forced to Leave Home, Mr. Wang Dawu Arrested in Inner Mongolia

(Minghui.org) Mr. Wang Dawu, a Falun Gong practitioner from Lingyuan, Liaoning Province, was arrested with two other practitioners, Mr. Si Shuquan and Mr. Liu Shuhua, from their offices at the Beizifu Cement Factory on April 14, 2014. Li Guocai and other officers from the Inner Mongolia Chifeng Aohan Banner Domestic Security Division made the arrests. The practitioners are being held at the Aohan Banner Detention Center.

A week after his arrest, two of Mr. Wang's relatives went to Aohan Police Department to ask where he was. They met with Li Guocai, asked why Mr. Wang had been arrested, and asked him to show them the evidence. Li Guocai's outrageous reply was, “You don't need to know. You just need to sign the documentation.” His family looked at the paper and saw that it was a notification with only one sentence: “Disrupting the implementation of the law with Falun Gong.”

When his family asked again for specifics, Li snapped, “We are not obligated to tell you. There is no need for you to know. Just sign the paper.” Mr. Wang's relatives refused to comply and insisted that relatives of those arrested had the right to know the reason for an arrest. Li ordered three police officers to push the relatives out of the building and would not allow them to come back in. He said, “It does not matter whether you sign the document or not. If you want to know, go to the court.”

The families are deeply concerned for the safety of the arrested practitioners.

Mr. Wang was a factory worker at the Xiangdong Chemical Factory; he is kind and genuine. He benefited greatly from practicing Falun Gong. After the persecution began, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. Since then, he has been arrested, detained, beaten, shocked with electric batons, and tortured in other ways.

In August 2012, he was forced to leave home. He lost his job because he would not renounce his belief and had to make a living doing odd jobs. He could not return home, because the authorities constantly harassed him.
