(Minghui.org) “It [The persecution] should never have started and it has been going on for 15 years. You all know I am convinced that it is the turning point, now even the government of China cannot continue to do this to its own people. I am sure this [cannot continue], and when it stops it's going to be because of the efforts of many, many thousands of people including yourselves.”
“I thank you all for coming and it is an honor to be here protesting against the party state in China.” Mr. David Kilgour, a Canadian diplomat and subject matter expert on the issue of organ harvesting in China, spoke at an April 25, 2014 rally in front of the Chinese embassy in Ottawa, Canada.
Rally and Candlelight Vigil in Toronto
Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in front of the Chinese Consulate in Toronto on April 25, 2014, to commemorate the April 25 peaceful demonstration. The demonstration was a display of the Falun Gong practitioners' uncompromising courage in safeguarding justice and conscience.
Despite the rain, practitioners held banners at the intersection of University and Bloor Streets near the Chinese Consulate and collected signatures calling for a stop to the CCP's forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.
The practitioners held a candlelight vigil at night to commemorate practitioners in China who have lost their lives to the persecution.
