(Minghui.org) Seven Falun Gong practitioners were arrested at their homes by officers from the Fangshan District Police Department and local police stations in Beijing between 6 and 8 a.m. on February 26, 2014.
The police arrested Mr. Zhang Wenlong and his wife, Ms. Liu Chunhua, from Yangtougang Village in Chengguan Town and Mr. Hu Qinggui and Ms. Li Hao who were visiting Mr. Zhang.
The police also arrested Ms. Wang Shuwen, Ms. Wang Yunhua, and Ms. Yang Qiuying.
Ms. Wang Shuwen, 70, was arrested around 7 a.m. by officers from the Fangshan District Domestic Security Division and the Guandao Police Station in Liangxiang Town. Her home was ransacked.
Officers later broke into Ms. Wang Yunhua’s home and arrested her.
The officers confiscated three laptops, a computer, two printers, a recorder, a TV set, a DVD player, an NTDTV satellite dish, and a media player from Ms. Yang, who resides in Xiaoyuanshang Village in Qinglonghu Town.
Mr. Zhang, Ms. Liu, Mr. Hu, and Ms. Yang are being held at the Fangshan Detention Center. Ms. Wang Shuwen and Ms. Li were released. Ms. Wang Yunhua’s whereabouts are unknown.
