(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners have maintained a daily presence outside the Toronto City Hall, a landmark building in Toronto and a must-stop site for Chinese tourists. The practitioners greet Chinese tourists warmly, help them take group pictures, introduce the local culture and customs, and help them quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. The number of denunciations sometimes reaches over 50 per day.

During Chinese New Year, a group of tourist from Hefei City, Anhui Province stopped at City Hall. The tour guide greeted the practitioners as soon as he got off the van, “I have already quit the CCP. I know that the CCP is bad. You can talk to my clients and help them.” He pointed to a group of students and their two teachers.

The students were curious about facts that are covered up in mainland China today. Ms. Pan, a practitioner, told them about the wide spread of Falun Gong to over 100 countries and regions. She said that the teachings of Falun Gong have been translated to over 30 languages.

Ms. Pan also told the students, “The Communist Manifesto started with, 'A specter is haunting Europe — the specter of communism.' The specter was imported into China and has formed the CCP. The CCP has killed over 80 million Chinese over a litany of brutal campaigns, such as the Cultural Revolution and the Tiananmen Massacre. Its current major crime is the persecution of Falun Gong. It forbids people to become kind people and even harvests Falun Gong practitioners' organs while they are still alive, for profit. This atrocity has been called 'an unprecedented form of evil.'”

The students listened to her attentively and asked, “What should we do?” Ms. Pan told them that quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations would help them avoid being punished along with the CCP when it meets its retribution for doing so many bad deeds.

All 23 students and 2 teachers in the group denounced their memberships in CCP-affiliated organizations.

One girl had a question, “I have quit the CCP. Am I still a patriot?” Ms. Pan explained that the CCP was not the same as China, even though its propaganda fools people into believing that it is. She said that the CCP has only less than 100 years of history. How can it claim to be China, a country with 5,000 years of splendid civilization?

The girl was happy to have her question answered. Students took the truth-clarification materials and waved goodbye to the practitioners.
