(Minghui.org) Ms. Ji Shujun from Hebei Province was reported to police at 9:00 a.m. on December 2, 2013, when she was telling people about Falun Dafa in Shahejie Town, Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province. She was arrested by officers from the Shahe Police Department in Jiujiang County.
Ms. Ji is being held in the Jiujiang City Detention Center. The Jiujiang County Procuratorate is handling the case and preparing to indict her in Jiujiang County Court.
Ms. Ji protested the illegal arrest and detention by going on a hunger strike. Officials in the Jiujiang City Detention Center didn't want to be held responsible if anything happened to her, so they told officers from the Shahe Police Department and the Jiujiang Domestic Security Division to release her. Instead the officers transferred her to the Jiujiang County Detention Center.
