(Minghui.org) Ms. Yang Yuping and Ms. Tao Shenfang were illegally arrested by the Ma'anshan City police on November 22, 2013, while they were distributing Shen Yun DVDs. Ms. Su Jing managed to escape, but was arrested later.
Ms. Yang Yuping, 67, is still being held at Ma'anshan Detention Center. Her husband is in poor health and needs her to take care of him. The police have threatened to sentence her to seven years because she keeps clarifying the facts to people in the detention center.
When Ms. Tao Shenfang, 62, was released, she and her daughter went to another city, but the police arrested her again and took her to a brainwashing center.
After Ms. Su Jing escaped, police from Ma'anshan kept looking for her. They eventually arrested her at around 8:00 a.m. on February 11, when she was out posting truth clarification stickers. The police then ransacked Ms. Su and her son's homes and took her to the Ma'anshan Detention Center. As Ms. Su did not renounce her belief, the police refused to release her. They transferred her to a brainwashing center and tried to force her to write guarantee statements to renounce her belief.
All three practitioners case files have now been submitted to the Ma'anshan Procuratorate.
