(Minghui.org) Officers from the Zhihe Police Station of Jilin City, Jilin Province, went to the Wuhan Duck Neck Delicatessen looking for Ms. Ao Cuicui on February 15, 2014, two weeks after the death of her uncle, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Haitian. This was the latest move by authorities to deter her from seeking justice for her deceased uncle.
Ms. Ao and her uncle were co-owners of the deli, which is located on Beiji Gourmet Street in the Chuanying District of Jilin City. They were well-known for selling high-quality delicacies.

Ms. Ao had been arrested with Mr. Wang on October 18, 2013. She was released ten days later, but Mr. Wang was not released until December 5, 2013.
He died on February 2, 2014, two months after his release, at the age of 45.
Ms. Ao had to close the deli after her release. She was successful in getting the Zhihe Police Station to return the 10,000 yuan and cart that the police had confiscated during her and her uncle's arrest.
She made many attempts to secure her uncle's release but got the runaround, and was threatened with arrest if she didn't stop. She then hired a lawyer and filed charges against those persecuting her uncle.
After Mr. Wang was released, the local police kept harassing them, and they had to leave their rented apartment. Ms. Ao was forced to become homeless after her uncle's death.
Mr. Wang's death came as a terrible shock to Ms. Ao, who could not believe that her uncle, a kind and strong man, was truly gone forever. Grief-stricken, she tried to convince herself that her uncle had just left for a few days and would be back soon.
Mr. Wang, once known as Bao Wenju, was tortured in Shahezi Brainwashing Center by being force-fed chili pepper water and mustard oil through his nose, and having cigarettes inserted into his nostrils. The police had once threatened to remove his corneas.
