(Minghui.org) After distributing Falun Gong truth clarification materials in December 2013, I went to the local market to do some shopping. A police officer stopped me and said, “You have been reported for distributing Falun Gong materials. Open your bag and let me take a look.”
I remained calm and decided not to cooperate with him. I said, “Why don’t you go after thieves and other bad guys instead of an old lady? Do you any have evidence? You can ask the butcher here if I am a good person.” The butcher said, “That lady indeed bought some meat and has paid for it. She hasn’t done anything wrong. She is a good person.”
The officer still wanted to search my bag. I told him that he didn't have the right to search it, and I took my meat and left. But he followed me. He then grabbed my bag and I tried to get it back. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts and talked to him about Falun Gong.
Many people had surrounded us by then, so I spoke up about Falun Gong. Someone in the crowd said, “Why are you arresting this elderly lady? Release her immediately.” The police officer said, “Mind your own business.” The officer called for backup.
Arrested and Taken to the Police Station
Several male officers and one female officer arrived in a police car. I asked Master to strengthen me, and I had no fear. The policewoman took me to the restroom at the station, where I pinned the four truth-clarification brochures on the waistband of my pant.
The policewoman took me to a room and left, but two male officers monitored me. I sat down in the lotus position and send forth righteous thoughts. I also looked within. The room was very quiet. I felt the enormous energy, as if I was floating and could do whatever I wanted to do. The magnificence I felt was beyond description.
Two more officers came, including the leader. They asked me if I still practiced Falun Gong. I opened my eyes and saw that one of them had a camera. I said, “Don't take a photo of me. Whoever takes photos will be punished. I will not cooperate with you.” I held no fear as I talked to them.
They laughed and said that they just wanted to talk to me. I asked them, “Do you mean you are trying to understand me by arresting me? That is persecution.”
I asked Master to strengthen me and give me wisdom. I knew what I should do and agreed to talk to them. I knew Master was beside me.
I decided to talk about Falun Gong to save them. I stood up and said, “Please listen carefully. Do not talk.”
I told them that practitioners live by the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and that the practice teaches people to be good: “We consider others first in whatever we do. We suffer losses without any complaints, and we look within unconditionally.”
I continued telling them that the Jiang Zemin regime persecuted this good practice and staged the self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square to fool the Chinese people. I didn't forget the organ harvesting from living practitioners for huge profits.
Warning Them about Consequences
I looked at them and said, “You are all so young. You have parents, wives, and children. Some of you aren't even married yet. Please don't persecute Falun Gong practitioners any longer, or you will be punished and have no future.
“The CCP hasn’t issued any official documents about Falun Gong since the persecution started. They have only given orders verbally or by phone. Jiang Zemin regards you as scapegoats. You shouldn’t be pigheaded. Make sure you don't persecute Falun Gong practitioners.”
I then started to tell them about the movement to quit the Chinese Communist Party, and they all left. After a while one officer came back and I spoke to him about Falun Gong. He didn’t say anything, but refused to quit the Party.
I was then told that I could leave. I said, “Please quit the CCP and its affiliates immediately and you will have a good future. Please don't become a victim of the CCP.” He agreed to quit, and another officer then agreed to quit.
They were going to take me home in a police car, and the male officer who came along agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliates. I left the police station and distributed the remaining materials about Falun Gong.
I spent less than two hours in the police station after being arrested. Master had strengthened me to help me act righteously.
Master took away my human attachments and helped me save these people with compassion.
Thank you, Master! I will make sure not to become complacent, and will try to dig out the roots of my attachments so they can not be used to persecute me.
