(Minghui.org) At each Chinese New Year, the most important holiday for Chinese people, the Minghui website receives thousands upon thousands of greetings to Master Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Dafa, from practitioners around the world.
Thanks to practitioners’ unwavering truth-clarification efforts, the past few years have also seen more and more non-practitioners in China breaking through the Internet blockade and sending in their New Year greetings to Master Li.
Through family, friends, neighbors and colleagues, these well-wishers learned the truth about the senseless persecution of Falun Dafa and began to distance themselves from the Chinese Communist regime. Many have quit the Party and its affiliated organizations and have come to appreciate the greatness of Falun Dafa.
These non-practitioners' support of Falun Dafa has, in turn, brought them tremendous benefits. Some have their illnesses cured without medical intervention while others escape danger at critical moments. Many are enjoying a more fulfilling life.
Though not practitioners themselves, they identify with Falun Dafa's core principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and are deeply indebted to Master Li for bringing them hope and blessings.
As more and more people discover the beauty of Falun Dafa, it has become a new tradition for Dafa supporters to send in greetings at each Chinese New Year to express their heartfelt gratitude to Master Li.
Below is a sample of greetings from non-practitioners received this Chinese New Year. They all wish revered Master a happy holiday and they long for Master Li to return to China in the near future.
Greetings from People who Have Quit the CCP and Its Affiliated Organizations
A group of retired police officers expressed their deepest appreciation to Master Li for saving them from the deadly grip of the Chinese Communist Party. They are happy to have quit the Party and they vow to spread the wonder of Falun Dafa to every corner of China.
Several military officers in Nanjing Military Region had similar feelings. They feel lucky to have seen through the deceit and brutality of the CCP. They are also determined to tell as many people as possible about the importance of quitting the Party and its affiliated organizations.
Greetings from a Perpetrator's Wife
A wife whose husband once persecuted five practitioners expressed her sincere apology and warm wishes: “My husband was once involved in mistreating five practitioners and I hereby apologize to all of you. I wanted to let you know that we received many letters advising us to stop doing evil and we thank those who did for taking the time to write us. We can feel their sincerity and we thank Master Li for producing such noble and trustworthy students. We feel bad that one of the five practitioners is still in detention, but we hope all of you can continue your Dafa cultivation with determination.”
Greetings from People Who Have a Better Life Because of Dafa
A practitioner’s friend wrote, “He [the practitioner] is truly a top notch person! I'm totally convinced that his Master is even better! Though I am not a practitioner yet, I’ve been conducting myself following the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance for some years. I am now able to see my deficiencies and improve myself. I am much happier now.”
A family of more than 30 from Zhoukou, Henan Province, is grateful to Master Li for bringing them endless blessings after they all quit the Party and its affiliated organizations. Everyone is happy and healthy, and the family business is booming. They are also proud to have produced six students with graduate degrees in the past few years.
A general manager of an enterprise in the Beidaihe District of Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, is pleased to see his business take a turn for the better after he and his employees learned about Falun Dafa. They all became more considerate of each other at work and, as a result, the business is doing great. On behalf of his employees, this manager wishes Master Li a Happy Chinese New Year.
Greetings from People Whose Illnesses Were Cured by Supporting Dafa
A deli owner in Sichuan Province was grateful that his father miraculously recovered from a stroke by reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He himself also benefited by following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to conduct his business. He treats his customers fair and square and his business is doing really well.
Many more people saw their illnesses go away in a similar fashion. Just by reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” their symptoms disappear without a trace.
Those who shared similar stories include a man in his 80s from Baoding City, Hebei Province; a blood cancer patient from Zhucheng City, Shandong Province; a patient with esophageal cancer from Weifang City, Shandong Province; and a new mother from Zhucheng City, Shandong Province, who delivered a healthy baby boy one month before her due date.
Greetings from People Whose Lives Were Saved by Dafa at Critical Moments
Many non-practitioners recounted in their greetings how Falun Dafa saved them from danger.
A couple in their 70s from Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province, told how they survived a flood last year. Just one month prior to the disaster, they had quit the Young Pioneers and the Youth League they had once joined. When the big flood hit their hometown on August 16, 2013, they were both swept away but escaped death. Tthey knew it was Dafa that saved their lives.
When advised to remember “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” a peasant in his 70s from Dazhou, Sichuan Province, really took the words to heart. He survived a car accident, but his relative who didn't believe in Dafa died of serious injuries.
A truck driver in Guangdong Province can't thank Dafa enough for saving him from a horrific accident. While transporting logs, he lost control of his truck and saw the fully-loaded vehicle roll downhill. His passenger, a Dafa practitioner, immediately asked him to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” together. Miraculously, the truck was stopped by a ditch and they escaped unscathed. This driver knows his withdrawal from the Party is the best insurance he can ever have for himself and his family.
Greetings from a Person Who Sees Hope in Dafa Practitioners
A person from Inner Mongolia expressed his deepest respect and appreciation to Master. In his opinion, it is Dafa that is saving China from the rapid decline in morality. He is deeply touched by Dafa practitioners' efforts to tell people the facts about the groundless persecution and he admires them for their courage and altruism. As he sees it, Dafa practitioners are the hope of China.
He feels lucky he is able to celebrate each Chinese New Year with his family, but he also knows many practitioners are still in custody. He hopes the persecution will end soon and he wants to welcome Master back to China in the very near future.
