(Minghui.org) Ms. Deng Caijuan was waiting for her niece to give her a ride home from school on December 20, 2013, when she was illegally arrested by plainclothes police officers. Her family members received no official notice of her arrest. Extremely worried, they looked for her everywhere.

It was not officially confirmed that Ms. Deng from Dongsheng Village in Foshan County, Guangdong Province, was arrested by the Diejiao police until recently, and she is now being held in the Nanhai Detention Center. The officers prohibited Ms. Deng from buying any daily necessities, since she refused to memorize the regulations. Ms. Deng was also pushed around by the guards.

Prior to her arrest, at the age of 44, Ms. Deng lived in Foshan City with a younger sister and two nieces selling building materials. Ms. Deng was responsible for importing channels (for her business), housework, chauffeuring her niece to and from school, buying food, and cooking, while her sister maintained her shop. Her life was smooth and happy.

Family Distraught

Being arrested for more than a month, her family was distraught. They went from the Diejiao Police Station to the Nanhai District Police Department, and back to the Diejiao Police Station trying to understand the situation. The case was being pushed back and forth and no department would give any explanation.

This is not the first time that Ms. Deng had been arrested. On the evening of June 7, 2012 on her way home after having dinner, Ms. Deng was arrested and taken to the Zhanjiang Brainwashing Center. The guards took her into a dark room to question her. When her answers didn't align with their principles, they beat her.

Torture Re-enactment: Being Tied up with ropes and tortured

The guards forced her legs into the double-crossing position and tied up both her legs and hands restricting any movement. When she refused to write the three statements the guards put a few large slabs of cement boards on top of her legs.

Seeing that Ms. Deng would not give in, they put a dozen books in addition to a cardboard box on top of the cement slabs. She was in severe pain from the torture, and cried for the guards to remove the weight. Instead of listening to her cries, they added more books on top of her legs.

Guard He Xuri purposely stepped on the boards causing her even more pain. Her entire lower body felt like it was being crushed. The agonizing pain far exceeds the limits of tolerance.

Ms. Deng had to endure this pain for nine hours. It began at 12:00 noon and lasted until 9:00 p.m. causing severe damage to Ms. Deng's body.

To Ms. Deng's sister, scenes like that feels like it just happened yesterday. It is so vivid, bloody and cruel. Just thinking about it one would feel heartbroken and cannot help but cry. Ms. Deng's sister said she did not do anything to hurt others or pose a threat to society, but she is once again being persecuted.
