(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 5 provinces. In this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 3 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Dai Cuihua Detained
2. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Kang Yinzhi Detained

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Dai Cuihua Detained

Ms. Dai Cuihua from the No. 3602 Factory in Caidian District was arrested by officers from the Xinnong Police Station on the evening of February 10, 2014. She was taken to the Wuhan City No. 1 Detention Center and held for five days.

2. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Kang Yinzhi Detained

Ms. Kang Yinzhi, 83, was arrested by officers from the Chengxi Police Station in Neijiang City Center District on the morning of February 13, 2014, for using cash bills that had information about Falun Gong printed on them. She is being held in the Chengxi Police Station.

3. [Pulandian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Shufeng Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

The Pulandian City Court authorities tried Ms. Yu Shufeng on November 3, 2013. Ms. Yu was sentenced to three years in prison at the end of January 2014.

4. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Mr. Gao Xirong and Ms. Guo Lianqing Detained

Mr. Gao Xirong, 70, from Pingchuan District was arrested by officers from the Dashuitou Police Station on February 8, 2014. He was taken to the Baiyin City Detention Center.

Ms. Guo Lianqing, 71, was arrested at home by officer Zhang Dongli, deputy director Lu Jianrong and others from the Dashuitou Police Station on the morning of February 13, 2014. She was taken to the Baiyin City Detention Center.

Mr. Zhou Jiafu, held in the Hulan Prison, was cruelly beaten by inmates for refusing to perform hard labor on February 8, 2014.
