(Minghui.org) As more Chinese people learn the facts about Falun Dafa, refusing to blindly believe the lies concocted by the communist regime, more and more choose not to be complicit in the persecution. Here are a few examples of this growing trend.

Policeman: I Will Not Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioners Anymore

As a middle-aged policeman pushed his bicycle up the road, I took the opportunity to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution to him.

I asked him, “Are you still arresting Falun Dafa practitioners?”

He replied: “If someone reports them, then I will. If no one reports them, then I won't.”

I told him not to arrest practitioners even if someone reported them, but he disagreed with me.

I then explained to him: “Those who report practitioners don't understand the facts about Falun Dafa, because they believe the Chinese Communist Party's propaganda against the practice. If they knew the truth, they wouldn't report practitioners, because they would understand that they will receive karmic retribution for participating in the persecution.”

I continued: “It is understandable that the general public might have misunderstandings about Falun Dafa, but police officers shouldn't. I'm certain that you have met and talked to practitioners, and may even have received truth-clarification phone calls or text messages from overseas practitioners.

“No matter if an officer persecutes practitioners willingly or unwillingly, claiming that he is only fulfilling his duty, that officer will receive karmic retribution in the near future. The Communist Party wants to replace Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance with Deceit-Evilness-Struggle, and that is impossible.”

The policeman appeared deep in thought, but didn't completely agree with everything I'd said.

I then added, “A police officer's duty is to protect good people and arrest the bad people.”

He finally nodded in agreement and said that he wouldn't arrest practitioners anymore, even if someone reported them.

I then helped this policeman to quit the Chinese Communist Party, so as to distance himself from the regime's crimes against humanity.

As we parted, I said, “Please share what we discussed with your wife and children, and tell them to quit the Party, too, to have a bright future.”

Lawyer: Practitioners Are Good People

A local court illegally tried six practitioners from our area in 2011. Five of them hired a lawyer from Beijing to appeal their case. We also wanted to hire a local lawyer to help the one from Beijing.

After I explained the purpose of my visit to a 60-year-old lawyer, he said: “I've been working at the courthouse for more than 30 years, and have been a presiding judge in the criminal division for 12 years. I have presided over many cases that involved practitioners, and I know they are all good people.”

He raised his hand and made a fist. Pointing at his fist, he said: “Let's say this is a steam bun. However, if the Party says it is a noodle, then it must be a noodle.” Then he pointed at me and said: “You are a woman, but if the Party says you are a man, then you must be thought of as a man. If anyone dares to speak the truth, then that person is labeled 'anti-Party.'”

He continued: “Anyone who contradicts the regime is punished. The Party interprets the laws as it likes. What does it mean when someone receives a 3- or 7-year prison term? Those who have connections or can afford to offer bribes are sentenced to a 3-year term. Those who don't have connections or can't offer bribes are sentenced to a 7-year term. That is what the Party is all about.”
