(Minghui.org) It became very difficult for people in China to learn the facts about Falun Gong after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution. I was fortunate to have learned the facts and eventually became a Falun Gong practitioner.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer and other illnesses over two years ago. Because I was so weak, pale and bony, I didn't go outside, fearing that others would see me. I gradually lost my self-confidence and was close to mental collapse.
One time I met up with a former classmate from middle school. We hadn’t seen each other for nearly 30 years. Seeing that I was very sick, he gave me a Falun Gong amulet and asked me to recite “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He told me that the amulet could bring me good luck. I felt hopeful instantly. I have worn the amulet since then and have recited the two sentences daily since that day.
I became pain free and my health improved so much that I could do the housework. I thought, “Falun Gong is so miraculous, I want to practice it!” However, because of the persecution it is very difficult to find practitioners.
I visited my daughter who runs a small business in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. She was surprised that her business improved while I was there because she had had a hard time breaking even before my visit. I told her about the amulet and the two sentences. She also recited them and wanted an amulet of her own.
During my recent visit to another country, I was very impressed with the popularity of Falun Gong. However, the tour guide didn’t let us take any materials about Falun Gong. When I returned home, my desire to practice Falun Gong grew stronger and stronger.
After searching for over two months, I finally found local practitioners two weeks ago and got hold of the book Zhuan Falun. I am determined to cultivate in Dafa.
I attribute my return to good health to the two sentences “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, Falun Dafa is good” and my Falun Gong amulet. I am deeply grateful for Teacher’s salvation.
