(Minghui.org) Mr. Fan Xiaosheng, 46, is a teacher at Fengcheng No. 1 High School. He was illegally sentenced to three years in prison after being detained for over a year. He's lodged an appeal with the Dandong City Intermediate Court and hired lawyers from Beijing to defend him.
Mr. Fan was taken from his classroom in October 2012 and released on bail on October 25, 2012. He was arrested again on May 13, 2013, and sentenced to three years in prison by Fengcheng Court on November 8, 2013. He was charged with sending Falun Gong information over the Internet.
From May to October 2012, Mr. Fan reportedly used anti-firewall software to browse the Minghui website and download truth-clarification materials, which he sent to Internet users via his QQ network.
Dandong Internet Police Team, Fengcheng 610 Office, and Fengshan Police Department arrested him, ransacked his house, and confiscated his desktop computer and a notebook computer (which was later returned to the school).
