Additional Persecution News from China – February 1, 2014 (6 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 3 provinces. According to this report, 25 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 4 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhao Fuzhen Held in Brainwashing Center
2. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhang Yuman Arrested
3. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Mr. Guo Xinjie Sent to Brainwashing Center
4. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] 25 Practitioners Still Detained

6. [Jingtai County, Gansu Province] Mr. Ma He Beaten, Taken to Hospital

1. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhao Fuzhen Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zhao Fuzhen was arrested at her son's home in Lanzhou City on December 28, 2013. She is being held at the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center.

2. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhang Yuman Arrested

Ms. Zhang Yuman was arrested at home by two officers from the Wanglongmen Police Station on January 27, 2014.

3. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Mr. Guo Xinjie Sent to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Guo Xinjie was arrested at his workplace by officer Liu Yuejin from the Kaifeng City Domestic Security Division and agents from the Longting District Political and Legal Affairs Committee on the morning of December 4, 2013. He was taken to the Henan Province Brainwashing Center (officially called "Legal Education Center").

4. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] 25 Practitioners Still Detained

Practitioners being held at the Nongan County Detention Center inlcude Mr. Liu Wei, Mr. Chang Baojun, Mr. Yang Hongbiao, Mr. Xiu Jixue, and Mr. Su Xiufu.

Practitioners who are being held at the Changchun No. 3 Detention Center include Ms. Wang Yajuan, Ms. Sun Yanxia, Ms. Fu Guihua, Ms. Zhang Guozhen, and Ms. Yang Weijuan.

Practitioners being held at the Jilin Province Women's Prison include Ms. Yang Shumei, Ms. Wang Xiuping, Ms. Zhao Yushu, Ms. Zhang Danfeng, Ms. Xu Yafen, and Ms. Huang Lianhua.

Practitioners being held at the Gongzhuling Prison include Mr. Pan Gang, Mr. Wei Cheng, Mr. Fu Cheng, Mr. Li Rui, Mr. Tang Moqiu, Mr. Zhang Wanjun, and Mr. Han Xixiang.

Practitioners being held at the Jilin Prison include Mr. Qi Yunchao and Ms. Li Fengming.

5. [Beijing] Mr. Sun Deli Detained

Mr. Sun Deli was arrested by officers from the Yangzhen Police Station on January 10, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Someone had recorded his conversation with a cell phone and reported him to the police. Police ransacked his home and took him to the Nihe Detention Center in Shunyi District the following morning.

6. [Jingtai County, Gansu Province] Mr. Ma He Beaten, Taken to Hospital

Mr. Ma He was recently arrested by Wang Cun, captain of the Jingtai County Police Department's Domestic Security Division. He was taken to the Jingtai Detention Center, where he was beaten by inmates. He was then taken to the Jingtai County Hospital.
