(Minghui.org) As more and more Chinese people are traveling overseas for recreation, Falun Gong practitioners have taken advantage of the opportunity to reach out to Chinese tourists, giving them access to information that is censored in their home country. Due to practitioners' continued presence at major tourist spots throughout the world, these overseas trips have become one of the best ways for Chinese people to learn about Falun Gong and to publish their announcements about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Banff National Park, 80 miles from Calgary, is a major destination for Chinese visitors to Canada. The park is home to Lake Louise, surrounded by beautiful snow capped mountains.

Falun Gong practitioners from Calgary, especially retirees, often come to Lake Louise to talk to the Chinese people there. They offer a kind word, help them take family photos, and tell them of the importance of quitting the CCP. Most Chinese visitors are happy to talk to these friendly, elderly practitioners, and they often sincerely thank them for the information.
Epoch Times Readers Quit the Party
One day, Ms. Yu ran into an older couple and started chatting with them. The gentleman told her that he was in his seventies and that they'd come from California. He added that he and wife are loyal readers of The Epoch Times, an independent newspaper that provides uncensored news about China.
“We read The Epoch Times online every day. We cannot live without it,” The man said. “Falun Gong practitioners are great. It is not easy to persist with the peaceful resistance for 15 years. The CCP's persecution of Falun Gong is condemned by Heaven. The state-sanctioned organ harvesting [of persecuted Falun Gong practitioners] is brutal. We were shocked when it was first exposed. The party is truly evil.”
Ms. Yu asked the couple if they had quit the party. They hadn't, because they didn't know how to do it online. Ms. Yu helped them publish their announcement.
She then shared her own experience of being persecuted for her belief. She was arrested three times in China, and was imprisoned in detention centers and brainwashing centers. She was forced to leave home, and finally escaped to Canada. The couple was moved and asked whether she was living a good life in Canada.
Later, the couple's three grown children came over to join them. Ms. Yu asked them if they had quit the party. One of them said that they had, adding, “We read The Epoch Times every day, and have done pretty much everything that we should do. Thank you very much. You guys have really been working hard. Thank you, thank you.”
Ms. Yu once shared with another practitioner, “Coming here and talking to people can be exhausting, but my heart is full of energy when I see so many kind people understanding Falun Gong and learning the true nature of the CCP.”
Feels Blessed by Falun Gong
Ms. Huang is a 70-year-old practitioner. She often makes phone calls to China, telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong, and convincing them to quit the CCP. Ms. Huang cherishes the opportunity to talk to Chinese people face to face in Banff National Park. Many Chinese are touched by her kindness and sincerity.
One day, a Chinese businesswoman talked to Ms. Huang for a long time. She said she didn't like the CCP, and was glad that Ms. Huang gave her the opportunity to renounce her party membership. She gave Ms. Huang a hug, and asked if she could take a picture with her. “Being in the same picture with you will bring me luck,” she smiled, “May Falun Gong bless me.”
The Family of a High Ranking CCP Official Quit the Party
Ms. Yu often drives her fellow practitioners to Banff National Park. She also talks to Chinese people when she is there. She can sometimes convince a dozen people to quit the party in 20 minutes!
One day, Ms. Yu ran into a family of four on the Lake Louise parking lot. She approached the father of the group. “Greetings, Sir. You must be a member of the Chinese Communist Party.”
“How do you know?” the man asked, a little nervously.
“I can tell that you are not only a party member, but also a high-ranking official.”
The man smiled and nodded.
“Have you heard about the trend of quitting the party?” Ms. Yu asked, “The CCP will come to an soon. You probably know about it better than most people. Quitting the party and separating yourself from it will bring you a bright future.”
The man acknowledged that he had heard about the trend of quitting the party.
Ms. Yu asked the family if they wanted to quit with pseudonyms, and told them to keep in mind, “Falun Dafa is good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
The man smiled and said, “OK, I'll take your advice.” The whole family quit the party.
Everybody on the Bus Quit the Party
Chinese tourists often come to the park in groups. One day, a practitioner saw a group of businessmen from Shanghai. She talked to them for a long time, but only five of them agreed to quit the party.
After they got back on the tour bus and were about to leave, the practitioner came to the door of the bus and said to them, “Heaven will eliminate the communist party. You don't want to go down with it. It is not worth your life. Quit it just for your own future.”
The passengers were moved by her sincerity, and they all agreed to quit the party.
