(Minghui.org) For people living in the free world, it is difficult to understand the severity of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. To raise awareness of this ongoing outrage, Taipei practitioners went to a major transportation hub over the weekend to display poster boards, reenact methods of torture, and distribute pamphlets.

Taipei Railway Station, where the event was held on November 30, is not only the major intersection for mass transit in Taipei, but is also adjacent to crowded boardwalks and business centers. Passersby saw practitioners reenacting organ harvesting and read their banners calling for the persecution of Falun Gong to end. Many people took brochures to read and signed petitions, and some took pictures.

A forced organ harvesting reenactment drew the attention of passersby.

People stopped to learn about Falun Gong and the suppression in China.

“One More Signature Means One More Voice in Support of What Is Right”

Many students stopped by to sign petitions calling for an end to the brutality. One college student said he regretted not signing once before. “I went home and read about it on the Internet. The persecution is awful. I'm glad I have another chance to sign today.” Another student commented that it was unethical and horrible that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) condones live organ harvesting .

Many people signed petitions calling for an end to the persecution.

A high school senior said he had learned in history class how the CCP mistreats people. He had also heard about the suppression of Falun Gong and said it was appalling: “I will read more about it on the Internet and share the information with my friends.” He hoped more people would find out about it and help to end it. “One more signature means one more voice in support of what is right.”

Ms. Tsai, another high school student, said this was the first time she had heard about organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners in China. “This is terrible--we have to stop it.” She signed a petition and took some materials to read.

Ms. Wang, a sociology student at Fu Jen Catholic University, and her friends chatted with a practitioner for a long time, covering everything from the benefits of Falun Gong and its popularity to the severe persecution in China. “Live organ harvesting is barbaric, but I know it's true, because the CCP has no respect for human rights.”

Telling More People about the Brutality

“Activities like this are very meaningful, because that is how people find out about this and help to stop it,” said Ms. Tsai. She said she knew some students from China who had been deceived by the CCP propaganda. “I support you and I will tell my friends about the persecution, live organ harvesting, and signature-collecting here so that they could also help.”

Ms Liao, a young elementary school teacher, was curious about the event and asked what was going on. She was moved to tears after one practitioner told her about the live organ harvesting in China. She signed a petition and took some materials: “I will give them to my friends and colleagues.”

A gentleman in his 50s, Mr. Chen Minhui, had poor eyesight. He was shocked after a practitioner told him how Falun Gong practitioners in China are being tortured, “This is killing. We must stop it!” He slowly and carefully signed his name and wrote his contact information stroke by stroke.

Mr. Xiao, 80, was also enraged to hear about the persecution. “This is inexcusably cruel and evil,” he said to a Minghui correspondent as he signed a petition. “I will tell my children, grandchildren, and everyone: we cannot tolerate this.”
