Additional Persecution News from China – November 22, 2014 (22 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 21 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 26 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 18 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Seventeen Practitioners Detained

The following seventeen practitioners are being held at the Shijiazhuang No. 2 Detention Center: Ms. Chi Wenxiu, Ms. Li Yuxin, Ms. Tian Shumei, Mr. He Junrong, Mr. Chen Tiankui, Ms. Luan Chengyan, Ms. Rui Min, Ms. Yang Huanping, Ms. Zhang Yingtong, Mr. Yang Huizhou, Ms. Hu Yanxia, Ms. Chen Yinghua, Ms. Bian Xiaohui, Ms. Zhang Yun, Ms. Ma Surui, Ms. Zhang Lingxue, and Ms. Yang Xichen.

2. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhao Xianghai Monitored

Mr. Zhao Xianghai had been held at the Xiangtan City No. 5 Hospital, a mental hospital, for approximately seven years. He was taken to the Wujiahuayuan Brainwashing Center in the end of September 2014 and released on October 10. He is being closely monitored.

3. [Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Xiao Chunying Detained

Ms. Xiao Chunying was arrested by railway officers from the Hailar District in Hulunbeir City on November 17, 2014. The railway officer and officers from the Yakeshi City Domestic Security Division ransacked her home and confiscated a laptop computer, a tablet computer, three printers, two MP5s, and a copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong. She is being held at the Hailar District Railway Detention Center.

4. [Boxing County, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Dai Dongwu, Ms. Zhang Yuzhen, and Ms. Gong Junling were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Huantai County Police Department in June 2014.

Mr. Wang Shuxiang was arrested at home by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Fangshan Police Department and Changyang Police Station on October 31, 2014. He is being held at the Fangshan District Detention Center.

6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yao Baosuo Detained

Mr. Yao Baosuo was arrested on November 17, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is being held in the brainwashing center at Linggongli Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City.

7. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Sentenced

The Tiexi Court sentenced five practitioners to prison: Ms. Shang Jing for four years, Ms. Zhang Xu for three years, Ms. Guo Shufang for three years and three months, and Mr. Tang Chao for two years.

8. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang and Ms. Yang were arrested and taken to the Xiaoba Police Station on November 20, 2014. They were observing the trial of Ms. Zheng Cuilan in Panlong Court. Ms. Yang was released that day, but Ms. Zhang is still being held at the Xiaoba Police Station.

9. [Xiuyan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Lihong Detained

Ms. Wang Lihong was arrested by officers from the Huanghuadian Police Station on November 18, 2014, for distributing informational calendars about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Xiuyan Detention Center and then transferred to the Anshan Detention Center on November 19, 2014.

10. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Baoyan Detained

Ms. Liu Baoyan was arrested by officers from the Tongzhong Police Department on the morning of November 19, 2014. The police confiscated laptop computers and printers. She is being held at the Jianguanzhidui Detention Center.

11. [Tianjin] Mr. Meng Qingfeng Arrested

Mr. Meng Qingfeng was arrested by officers from the Bangjun Police Station on November 21, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

13. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Yan Detained

Ms. Jiang Yan was arrested by officers from the Dazhang Police Station in the Zhangdian District on October 24, 2014. She is being held in the Fujia Criminal Detention Center.

14. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Yihua Detained

Ms. Gao Yihua and another practitioner were arrested by officers from the Police Station of Jiulong Sub-District Office in Jiaozhou City on November 16, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Gao was held at the Duchun Detention Center and the other practitioner was released.

15. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Yabin Arrested

Mr. Wang Yabin was arrested by officers from the Wenhua Police Station in the afternoon of November 4, 2014.

16. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Ms. Pan Yinjuan Detained

Ms. Pan Yinjuan was arrested at work by officers, including Zhang Yansheng, from the Hongmen Police Station on November 3, 2014. She was taken to the Xinxiang Detention Center. She was supposed to be held until November 18. However, she was taken to the Xinxiang City Detention Center for a yet-to-be-determined term.

Ms. Xie Aiying was sentenced to prison for three and a half years in the Meijiang District Court. She was taken to the Guangdong Province Women's Prison.

18. [Lijin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Aifen Detained

Ms. Li Aifen was arrested on November 19, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held at a brainwashing center in Dongying City.

19. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Xue Cunlin Arrested

Mr. Xue Cunlin was recently arrested.

20. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Shuhua Arrested

Ms. Wang Shuhua was arrested by officers from the Xiagezhuang Town Police Station on the evening of November 21, 2014.
