Additional Persecution News from China – December 3, 2014 (15 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 28 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 8 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Mr. Zheng Jiajin and Other Practitioners Arrested

It was reported that elderly Mr. Zheng Jiajin, in his seventies, remains in custody at the city's detention center. Ms. Pan Yinjuan was transferred to a detention center after spending 15 days in another detention center. A practitioner in his forties, who works in a bank, is missing.

Due to health reasons, Ms. Guo, Ms. Wang, Ms. Lang, and Ms. Jiao were released on bail and brought back home by their families. But they were constantly harassed. Ms. Wang, Ms. Lang, and Ms. Jiao were forced to leave their homes to avoid further persecution.

2. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Guo Shuqun and His Son Mr. Guo Jinyong Face Trial

Mr. Guo Shuqun and his son Mr. Guo Jinyong have been held for over eight months. The authorities have scheduled a hearing for the two practitioners at 9:00 a.m. on December 3, 2014.

3. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gong Qiudong Detained

Ms. Gong Qiudong, 52, and Mr. Chen Yan were arrested by officers from the Lagu Township Police Station in Liushan Township, Fushun County on the afternoon of November 29, 2014, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

Ms. Gong was taken to a detention center for ten days of detention. Because Mr. Chen had symptoms of high blood pressure during the physical examination, officials at the detention center refused to admit him, and he was returned to the police station. His family brought him home after being extorted of 20,000 yuan by the police the following afternoon.

4. [Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Xiao Chunmei Detained

Ms. Xiao Chunmei was arrested on November 17, 2014. The police ransacked her home, and confiscated a printer, a tablet computer, and Falun Gong books. She is being held in a detention center.

5. [Dongfeng County, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Dianzhu Secretly Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Liu Dianzhu, nearly 70, was arrested in May 2013, and her home was ransacked. She was later secretly sentenced to five years in prison by the Dongfeng County Court.

6. [Li County, Hunan Province] Mr. Tan Guodong Arrested

Mr. Tan Guodong was arrested on the evening of December 1, 2014.

7. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Chunhong Faces Trial

Ms. Yang Chunhong tried by the Longgang District Court on the afternoon of December 4, 2014. She was arrested by officers from the Longxin Police Station on July 25, 2014 for posting Falun Gong informational materials. She is being held in the Longgang District Detention Center.

8. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yan Shangyun Detained

Ms. Yan Shangyun, a retired worker, was arrested on the afternoon of November 24, 2014, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. Her home was searched, and she was taken to the Chengdu City Detention Center.

9. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liang Jinjun Refuses Blood Draw

Officers from the Domestic Security Division went to Ms. Liang Jinjun's home on the morning of December 2, 2014. They tried to take a blood sample from her for testing, but she refused to cooperate.

10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Ailing and Ms. Wu Yunhua Detained

Ms. Zhou Ailing and Ms. Wu Yunhua were taken to the Wuhan City No. 1 Detention Center. After 15 days of detention they were transferred to the City No. 1 Detention House.

11. [Chongqing] Ms. Li Gongqin and Another Practitioner Arrested

Ms. Li Gongqin, from Rongchang County, along with another practitioner, Li, from out of town, were arrested on November 29, 2014, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Panlong Town. Ms. Li Gongqin was taken to a detention center the same day. However, she was not admitted due to having high blood pressure, and she returned home that night. The other practitioner Li was also released that afternoon.

12. [Feicheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. An Xingguo and Five Other Practitioners Arrested and Detained

Mr. An Xingguo, from Anjia Village, Anjiazhuang Town, was arrested on the evening of September 1, 2014. The police searched his home and confiscated a computer, a printer, and Falun Gong informational materials. Five other practitioners were also arrested, and their homes ransacked, at the same time. These practitioners were Ms. Liu Jinyu, Ms. Liu Guiying, Ms. An Guiying, Mr. Liang Zhenhai, and Mr. Liang Bing.

13. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Mingxia and Eight Other Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Zhang Mingxia and eight other practitioners were arrested on May 16, 2013, for removing some display boards set up by the communist regime to slander Falun Gong. They were prosecuted in early 2014 by the Changping Police Department, and sentenced to prison on November 13, 2014 by the Changping Court.

14. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Yafang Transferred to Another Detention Center

Ms. Zhou Yafang was arrested on the morning of November 13, 2014. The police searched her home. She was detained for 15 days, then transferred to another detention center.

Ms. Ma Fenge was arrested at the same time, but was released.

15. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Caiyun and Ms. Mo Xiaomei Arrested

Ms. Liang Caiyun from the Luogang District was arrested on the evening of November 29, 2014, by an undercover police officer who claimed she was distributing Falun Gong informational materials. She was taken to the Jiulong Town Police Station.

The police went to Ms. Liang's home the next day and conducted a search. They did not find anything that amounted to so-called evidence. Ms. Liang was released and returned home.

Four former practitioners who listened to the communist regime drove to Ms. Mo Xiaomei's home every day to take her to the Yonghe Street Comprehensive Management Office for brainwashing.
