(Minghui.org) Since he was appointed head of Hulin Domestic Security Division two years ago, Song Qingjun (宋庆军) has been closely following the Chinese Communist Party in its persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

He gave his business cards to shop owners and taxi drivers in Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province and ordered them to report on local practitioners' activities.

Below are two persecution cases in which Song was directly involved.

Mr. Qu Huiping Remains Hospitalized after Sudden Arrest and Police Threats

Song and police chief Wan Guojun led four officers to break into the home of Mr. Qu Huiping (屈辉平) on August 17, 2014, after a sticker reading “Falun Dafa is good” was found on the wall in the apartment building. They ransacked Mr. Qu’s home and confiscated his personal belongings.

Mr. Qu was held in the police station for an hour before he was released. He later called Song, demanding the return of his laptop and Falun Gong books, but was threatened instead.

Traumatized by the sudden arrest and the police intimidation, Mr. Qu soon developed health problems and had to be hospitalized on September 2. Three days after he checked out of the hospital, he was sent back there again. He remains hospitalized and can no longer take care of himself.

Unable to Get a Bribe from Mr. Wang Dongxu, Song Retaliates

A real estate sales manager, Mr. Wang Dongxu (王东旭) regularly tells his prospective clients about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Wang didn't hold back during a sales meeting with Song in the summer of 2014, and urged him to stop persecuting local Falun Gong practitioners.

Song paid no attention to Mr. Wang's advice. Instead, he asked for a kickback on the deal, which Mr. Wang declined.

From late October to late November, Song led his officers to Mr. Wang's workplace a total of five times to harass him.

Mr. Wang was not in when they showed up at his office on October 20. The second time they went there on October 27, they ran into Mr. Wang just outside the office building. Song again asked for money, but Mr. Wang again declined.

Song, Zhao Chunquan (赵春权) and another policeman went to Mr. Wang’s office for a third time on November 3. They learned from the staff there that Mr. Wang's brother-in-law is a building developer. After Mr. Wang returned to his office that morning, the police pressured him to disclose his date of birth and his household registration address. However, he refused to give them his ID.

The police returned in the afternoon for the fourth time, attempting to arrest Mr. Wang, but left empty-handed after failing to find him.

Zhao Chunquan and another police officer came to look for Mr. Wang again on November 28. They ordered the staff to call Mr. Wang, demanding his immediate return. Mr. Wang refused to comply, and the police left, threatening to return.

In between the five episodes of harassment, Song got a hold of Mr. Wang’s brother-in-law on November 7 and deceived him into believing that they had pictures proving Mr. Wang put up stickers with messages exposing the persecution.

According to the brother-in-law, Song intended to extort money from the family by threatening to arrest Mr. Song.
