Additional Persecution News from China – October 25, 2014 (11 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 17 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Langzhong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zheng Suhua Sentenced

Ms. Zheng Suhua was illegally sentenced to a three-year prison term by the Langzhong City Court on October 21, 2014.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Meihua Detained

Ms. Xu Meihua was arrested on October 16, 2014. She is being held at the Yaojia Detention Center.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Dong Xuan Sentenced

Ms. Dong Xuan went to show support for practitioners who were being tried at the Dalian Court. She was arrested outside of the building and taken to the Yaojia Detention Center. She was later sentenced to a three-year prison term, and transferred to the Liaoning Women's Prison in Shenyang City on September 16, 2014.

4. [Dongliao County, Jilin Province] Mr. Hu Shiming Arrested

Mr. Hu Shiming was arrested by officers from Liaoyuan City and Dongliao County on September 25, 2014. The police confiscated all of his Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party DVDs and other personal items.

5. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Taizhen Detained

Ms. Yang Taizhen was arrested by officers from the Naxi Domestic Security Division on the morning of October 21, 2014. She is being held at the Naxi Detention Center.

6. [Qingyun County, Shandong Province] Mr. Ma Zhonghao Arrested

Mr. Ma Zhonghao was arrested on October 21, 2014, while writing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

7. [Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Xu Zexiu was arrested by officers from the Gong Xing Town Police Station on the morning of October 23, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her husband Mr. Li Jifa was also arrested.

Ms. Du Shikun and Ms. Feng Ruiju went to the police station to send righteous thoughts to support the practitioners. They were arrested across the street from the police station, and taken to the Gong Xing Town Police Station.

Mr. Li, Ms. Xu, and Ms. Feng were released in the afternoon, but Ms. Du was taken to the Mianzhu Detention Center. She was released the next day.

8. [Duchang County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Cao Jinzhen Detained

Ms. Cao Jinzhen was arrested by officers from the local police station on October 15, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held at the Jiujiang Detention Center for 15 days.

9. [Qidong County, Hunan Province] Mr. Liu Jishun Arrested

Xiao Heping, deputy captain Peng Jiandai, and officers from the Qidong County 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Liu Jishun at the Qidong County Post Office on October 16, 2014, for mailing letters about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was taken to the Qidong County Police Department.

10. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zou Xinqin was arrested at home by officers from the Fuzhou City 610 Office, the Domestic Security Division, and the local police station on September 17, 2014. The police also ransacked her home.

Ms. Zhang Guilan and Ms. Zhao Fengran were also arrested on the same day at Ms. Zhao's home. The police ransacked Ms. Zhao's home.

All three practitioners are being held at the Fuzhou City No. 2 Detention Center.

Ms. Hu, Ms. Geng, Ms. Zhou, Ms. Zhang, and Ms. Luo were arrested by officers from the Hefei City Domestic Security Division and the police department on October 21, 2014. They are being held at a hotel and undergoing brainwashing sessions.
