(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Zhiwen Transferred to a Brainwashing Center

Mr. Wang Zhiwen, former Falun Gong Research Society volunteer and contact person, has been illegally imprisoned for 15 years. He was transferred from the prison to the Changping Brainwashing Center.

Mr. Wang was sentenced to 16 years in prison in December 1999.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Daorong and Another Practitioner in Police Custody

Mr. Li Daorong and another practitioner surnamed Liang were arrested at home by officers from the Heishijiao Police Station on the morning of October 16, 2014. Both practitioners were taken to the Shahekou District Police Department.

3. [Xinglong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Liang Zhibin Detained

Mr. Liang Zhibin was arrested by officers from the Xinglong County Domestic Security Division for telling people the facts about Falun Gong on October 12, 2014. He is being held in the Xinglong County Detention Center.

4. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xiang Guoqiong Detained

Ms. Xiang Guoqiong was arrested in Xinglong Town and taken to the Guanghan Detention Center on October 20, 2014.

5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Baoquan Held in Solitary Confinement

Mr. Zhang Baoquan, who is now in Tailai Prison, was put in a small cell for distributing Falun Gong leaflets in the prison's manufacturing building on October 18, 2014.

6. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Lansheng Held in Solitary Confinement

Ms. Wang Lansheng, now in Tailai Prison, was put in a small cell on October 18, 2014, after she was found to have copies of Falun Gong teachings in her possession.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Mou Heping and Ms. Zang Honghong Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Mou Heping and Ms. Zang Honghong were arrested on October 11, 2014. Both were taken to the Liuji Brainwashing Center in Xinzhou District.

8. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Li Qime Arrested

Ms. Li Qime from the Huangshigang District in Hubei Province was arrested in Wujiang City, Jiangsu Province, on September 20, 2014, for producing Falun Gong informational materials.

9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Bo Xiuyun Arrested

Ms. Bo Xiuyun was arrested in mid-September. Her whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhong Danzhi Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zhong Danzhi was arrested at the Sanfutan Gas Station on the morning of October 17, 2014, and taken to the Magang Brainwashing Center.

11. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Wenxia and Another Practitioner's Daughter Arrested

Ms. Yang Wenxia, teacher at the No. 4 Huadian Middle School, was arrested in the school on October 14, 2014. She was taken to the Shulan Brainwashing Center.

Police recently showed up at Ms. Yu Cuimei's home to arrest her, but she was not there. They proceeded to arrest her daughter, who is not a practitioner. The daughter has since been released and returned home.

12. [Tianjin] Mr. Shi Fuhua Detained

Mr. Shi Fuhua from the Nankai District was arrested at home by officers from the Wangdingdi Police Station on October 15, 2014. He is believed to be in the Nankai Detention Center.

13. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xiang Guiqiong Detained

Ms. Xiang Guiqiong, in her sixties, was arrested in Xinglong Township for telling people about Falun Gong on the morning of October 16, 2014. She is being held in the Guanghan Detention Center.

14. [Feixi County, Anhui Province] Mr. Wu Zuorong Detained

Mr. Wu Zuorong was arrested for distributing materials containing the facts about Falun Gong on October 15, 2014. He is being held in the Luosigang Detention Center in Hefei City.
