(Minghui.org) I was with a fellow practitioner talking to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution, when we saw a man watering the lawn in a park. I said to him, “Have you seen the Shen Yun show? It's about 5,000 years of Chinese culture. It's an excellent show.”
He took the DVD from me and said, “Is it the show promoted by Falun Dafa? I would like to learn Falun Dafa, too. Where do you live? How can I get in touch with you and find Dafa books?” I gave him a copy of the software to safely circumvent the Internet blockade so that he could access Dafa websites.
I explained to the man that Wang Lijun, Bo Xilai, and Bo's wife were sentenced to prison because they were active in the persecution of Falun Dafa and, as a result, met with karmic retribution. I said that it was important for him to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates. He agreed to quit and was thankful that I had told him about it.
After walking away, I turned around and looked back and was surprised to see that the man was gone but the hose was still running. I went back to pick up the hose and watered the flowers in a nearby bed.
The man came back shortly, and I said to him, “You forgot to turn off the water.” He replied, “It's very kind of you to take care of the hose.” I replied, “We live by the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. We only wish people well.”
Then the man said, “I just reported you. You need to leave now.” I said, “You don't seem to understand that we are sincerely trying help you. The aim of Falun Dafa is to save people. What you did brings harm to people.” He said, “No harm can come to you if you leave quickly.” I said, “But it will come to you and the police officer who follows your advice. Evil deeds will incur retribution.”
The man sincerely urged me to leave and said, “I won't report anyone anymore. Please, leave now.”
I believe that when we truly wish people well, they will know it and will stop doing evil.
