(Minghui.org) After 310 people in mainland China signed the petition in mid-December, 2013 against live organ harvesting, another 6,259 people signed similar petitions in the following two weeks. The petitions were against the atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist regime, and also demanded an investigation into the crimes committed by Zhou Yongkang, Bo Xilai and others who instigated and ordered such atrocities.

The European Parliament not long ago passed an urgent resolution, which calls on the Chinese Communist regime “...to end immediately the practice of harvesting organs from prisoners of conscience and members of religious and ethnic minority groups.” The EU Parliament represents 500 million Europeans.

In early December, a petition against live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist regime, which garnered nearly 1.5 million signatures from 53 countries across 5 continents, was presented to the office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights.

International Community Shocked

The international community has increasingly spoken out against live organ harvesting, and their voices of indignation continue to grow. Harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, an unprecedented form of evil, has been made known to mankind. The entire world is shocked by the facts supported by ever increasing amounts of evidence. Individuals, social groups and organizations have also taken action one after another, to demand an end to such utterly evil atrocities.

Petitions Gaining Momentum in China

In mid-December 2013, the Minghui website and the Epoch Times reported that in mainland China, 310 people signed a petition against live organ harvesting, calling for investigations into crimes carried out by Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang in harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Within two weeks, more people in mainland China learned of the shocking atrocities. They saw through the lies told by the regime and voiced their desire for justice.

A petition movement against these shocking atrocities is quickly gaining momentum in mainland China. Since the first petition signed by 310 people, the number of signatures increased to 6,259 within two weeks.
