(Minghui.org) Ms. Hong Yizhao, a young teacher at the Yingjiazui Primary School in Chuxiong City, Yunnan Province, and three other practitioners--Ms. Yang Yafei, Ms. Deng Shaoying, and Ms. Li Zhongfang--were arrested and detained at the Fuqin Police Station in Chengdu, Sichuan. Except for Ms. Li Zhongfang, who was released, the others were later transferred, but their family were never told where.
Their families searched everywhere. One family, Ms. Hong's, traveled from Chuxiong in Yunnan Province to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center, which is famous for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.
Family in Tears Outside Xinjin Brainwashing Center
Hearing the relatives shouting the practitioners' names outside the brainwashing center, one employee came out, stopped them, and told them there were no Falun Gong practitioners inside. She said they had been transferred the previous Friday, but refused to say where.
The families didn’t believe her, even though she talked to them several times and tried to get them to leave. Two male employees came out and said everyone had been transferred out.
Ms. Hong’s family shouted at the gate and started crying, which made the staff panic. They called the police, who persuaded the family to calm down. Someone else came out and repeated that Ms. Hong had been there, but was transferred out the previous Friday.
Ms. Hong’s family went to Fuqin Police Station on the morning of November 11 and asked where Ms. Hong was being detained. Officer Liu Zhu told them that they would arrange a meeting on November 13 (Wednesday) after the 610 Office conference, but he still didn’t tell them where she was located.
A Father Resorts to Climbing the Wall of Jinniu Brainwashing Center
On November 11, Ms. Yang Yafei’s family went to Jinniu Brainwashing Center to look for her. Her father called her name, and Ms. Yang replied, telling her father that Ms. Hong Yizhao and Ms. Deng Shaoying were there, too.
The next morning, Ms. Hong’s family and Ms. Deng’s family went to Jinniu Brainwashing Center. They rang the bell, but no one replied. Ms. Hong’s father called, “Hong Yizhao, your father is here to see you!” Ms. Hong replied to the first and second call, but her voice became fainter and fainter. Ms. Hong’s father was not satisfied and climbed up the wall. He called her again. Ms. Hong opened the window. Her father said to her, “Be strong!”
Families Harassed
Ten minutes later, the staff called Xia, chief of the brainwashing center. At the time, two patrolling police officers appeared and asked them, “What are you shouting about?” One family replied, “Our relative is being held here. We are bringing her clothes.” The officer said, “Clothes can be left here. We have rules that you cannot see her.” Chief Xia said, “Our supervisors are coming. You can wait for them.”
Not long after that a car drove up. Three men and a woman got out. Two minutes later, another patrol wagon came, followed by two patrolling police and one officer carrying a camera. He took pictures of the family without their permission.
The families called again for Ms. Deng and Ms. Yang, but now there was no reply.
The relatives began knocking on the gate. Many staff members came out, including three men in uniform. They called the police. Two cars with 610 Office agents, 7 police motorcycles, a passenger-like bus, and other police showed up. The villagers gathered, too. The guard told the families to leave quickly or they would not be able to leave later. They left.
Fuqinlu Police Station did not want to release Ms. Hong to her family, because they wanted to transfer her to the Chuxiong Domestic Security Team.
The women's relatives went to the police station several times and will continue to until the practitioners are released.
M. Hong and her mother, Ms. Wang Meiling, have been persecuted several times. They were illegally detained in a labor camp. Ms. Wang is currently in Yunnan No. 2 Women’s Prison. Ms. Hong was forced to leave the job that she loved and work part-time. She was still harassed by the police at her job.
