(Minghui.org) In a county by the Yellow River in Shandong Province lives a 9-year-old thoughtful young practitioner. The boy is a second grader.
The boy's parents started practicing Falun Dafa before 1999 when they were still attending college. While distributing truth clarification materials about Falun Dafa after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began the persecution of Falun Dafa, his mother tried to give a Falun Dafa flyer to a young man, who said, “You don't need to give me anything. I am a practitioner, too” That is how they met.
Both parents are in their forties, employed, and are known to be good people. Before the boy was born, his mother was illegally arrested, taken to a forced labor camp in Shandong, and eventually released.
She continues with her truth clarification efforts and uses her wages to produce the materials. When the little boy wakes up in the morning and sees his parents making the Falun Dafa materials, he says, “You two do what you are doing. I'll take care of myself.”
In the spring of 2013, his mother picked him up from school on an electric bicycle every day. He distributed Falun Dafa materials while sitting on the back seat. One day a man berated them and tried to seize the key to the bicycle. The mother got off the bike and took the key out of the ignition to keep the man from getting it. The little boy saw the man abuse his mother. He pointed his little finger at him and shouted, “You are an evil person!” His shout made everyone notice what was going on.
Perhaps it was their righteous thoughts and actions that restrained this wicked person, or the the little boy's remark simply awakening his conscience. The man stood there motionless for about a minute. This gave the boy's mother the opportunity to start the electric bicycle and leave. Under Master's protection, they rode home safely. His parents have since been more cautious about their own safety when distributing Falun Dafa materials.
