(Minghui.org) On the afternoon of September 8 2013, Amnesty International Japan 109 Session hosted a preview of movie “Free China” in Nagoya City Aichi Prefecture. The attendees were shocked at the persecution the two leading characters of the movie endured in China and questioned why such persecution is still happening in such a modern society.

A symposium was held after the preview. Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xiaoguang Zhang introduced to the audience what Falun Gong is, its wide spread to over 100 countries and regions, why the Chinese regime wants to persecute Falun Gong and the methods it utilized. He also talked about the truth behind the so-called “Tiananmen Square self-immolation” and the on-going forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners in China.
Next, practitioner Ms. Reiko Nishimura from Gifu Prefecture shared her recent trip to China visiting her mother Ms. Chunlan Zhu who is still behind bars after an illegal six-year sentence because of practicing Falun Gong. Ms. Nishimura thanked the Japanese Government for its effort to rescue her mother and she also wished that more people in Japan will learn the truth about Falun Gong and join the righteous people of the world to force the Chinese Regime to release all jailed Falun Gong practitioners including her mother.
Mr. Shigeo Kutomi from Amnesty International said, “The movie 'Free China' told us many details that we don't know before, that is, the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China.” He wished the persecution would end as soon as possible.
