My Cousin’s Family
I often visited my cousin and other relatives of my mother in the countryside and stayed for a few days to clarify the truth to them. When the persecution first started, the loudspeakers in the village often broadcasted, “a reward of 20,000 Yuan for seizing a Falun Gong (practitioner).” It was later reduced to 10,000 Yuan. It was so loud that everyone could hear it in the house. My relatives were very scared of being implicated and didn't let me clarify the truth to them.
When I visited them, I kept myself busy and cleaned the windows and floors thoroughly. The public toilets in and out of the village were very filthy, and no one wanted to clean them, even if they would get paid to do so. I cleaned them three times and emptied out the waste scoop by scoop. My cousin said, “Oh! Don't you think it's filthy?” I said, “There is nothing but odor. Who's the filthiest? Jiang Zemin is the filthiest; his mind is the filthiest! The filth from his mind is the filthiest; it can harm people and kill people!” They agreed with me.
A few days later my sister's family had a big party to celebrate her birthday. Everyone had to say a few words. When my cousin spoke, she pointed at me and said, “I'll speak for our youngest cousin. My family all knows, 'Falun Dafa is Good!'” All people followed, “Falun Dafa is Good!”
My Father-in-law
I tried to clarify the facts to my father-in-law every time I visited, but he became upset when I did. I said, “OK I'll stop. I don't want you to get upset.” From then on and for a long time, I started working around his house as soon as I entered the door. He said to me later on, “I like you the best. I know you have done everything you can for the family very well. However, I do not like what you do about that matter.” I said, “I will practice Falun Gong to the very end. I used to have heart disease and couldn't even wash a dish. Now, I've cleaned your windows three times.”
After my mother-in-law passed away, my father-in-law was diagnosed with advanced stomach cancer. The doctor decided not to give him any treatment. I said to my father-in-law, “Do quit the party. I say this to you because my father was a kind-hearted person and was blessed for quitting the party.” He smiled. Two days later I went to visit him again. He said, “Want to see what I wrote?” I saw a big piece of cardboard with his real name written on it and followed by, “Quit the Communist Party!”
For two nights in a row, I fanned him while studying the Fa. I told him, “I will move to the side if you don't like it.” He kept shaking his head in order to keep me there. Around one o'clock in the morning, he suddenly sat up and startled me. I asked, “What are you doing?” He said, “I want to apologize to your Dafa Master. Please bring me your Dafa Master's picture.” I held the book high and turned to the page with Master's picture. He knelt down in bed, pressing his hands together, and kowtowed to Master's picture. He said, “Master of Dafa, I'm sorry for what I did to you!” And he wept.
Then he went back into a deep sleep. He used to moan and bite so hard in his sleep because of pain, but now he left the world in his sleep without any pain.
My Cousins-in-law
My husband's third brother suffered a stroke and was hospitalized. The family worked up a schedule to watch him. I said, “Don't bother with a schedule. I will watch him all by myself. You can be spared.” On the first night I told him to chant “Falun Dafa is Good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He said, “I'll keep it in mind.”
I sat next to his bed and had at most half-an-hour's sleep for the first night. I chanted along with him, “Falun Dafa is Good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Other patients said, “What a wonderful sister you have!” He said, “She's my sister-in-law.” I watched him for seven nights. He got well so quickly that he was discharged from the hospital after eight days, even though the doctors initially said that he had many blood clots in his brain and would be in a vegetative state in the future. He has not had any problems for over three years now.
My eldest sister-in-law is most aware of the truth. When she runs into practitioners trying to clarify the facts to her, she says, “We all know it. Our sister-in-law is so good. We know you are all good. We have all quit. Thank you!”
One day, she heard a rattling sound outside. She opened the door and saw a poster that read, “Falun Dafa is Good!” had been pasted on the hallway wall. She thought, “I will wait for the person and tell him to paste it higher so kids cannot take it down.” When the practitioner came down the stairs, she asked, “Did you paste this? I'll give you a stool so you can move it higher; wouldn't it last longer?” Then she got him two stools, a large one and a small one. The practitioner moved the poster to above the top of the door frame. The practitioner asked, “Why are you so nice?” She said, “My sister-in-law practices Falun Gong.”
My younger sister-in-law visited her brother-in-law in Sichuan Province in 2008. She came back and told us the following: On May 12, the day of the big Wenchuan earthquake, when the lamps and tables started shaking, people yelled out, “Earthquake!” Then the table was flipped over. She was stunned by the sudden event and crawled to the kitchen and hid under the countertop. Her husband warned her it was made of stone. She tried to get out but was stuck. It suddenly occurred to her and she shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!” Then she suddenly became powerful enough and got out, immediately followed by the collapse of the stone countertop. She said she would have been killed or had her back broken if she didn't get out in time.
My third sister-in-law has also benefited from Dafa. She developed diabetes two or three years ago. I told her to chant, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” She indeed fully recovered and needed no treatment. Now she tells everyone, “Falun Dafa is good”, accepts all truth-clarification materials, and passes them to her children after reading them. During the Chinese New Year last year, she came to my home and asked me, “When is your Master's birthday? I want to celebrate his birthday. I thought of it last year. What should I buy for your Master's birthday?” I said, “You can make something to show your heart.” She said, “I don't know much, but I know embroidering.” She embroidered four pieces including “Falun Dafa is Good,” “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is Good,” and “Understand the Truth and be Blessed.” She dedicated them to Master on May 13th last year.
