Solemn Declaration
I was illegally arrested on September 22, 2012, by officers from the Domestic Security Division and taken to a brainwashing center. The brainwashing center personnel tried to force me to give up my belief with videos and books that slander Falun Dafa and Master Li. They monitored me around the clock and forbid me from doing any Falun Dafa exercises and telling people the facts about Dafa.
I was quite depressed after a while and lost righteous thoughts. I had not studied the Fa well and was not very clear on Dafa principles. I wrongfully thought that distributing truth-clarification materials and clarifying the facts about Dafa was in violation of the law. I became afraid and wanted to seek comfort. I followed the guards' orders and wrote the three statements to renounce my belief against my will.
I later realized that I had caused a great loss to Dafa. I let down Master. Since my release from the brainwashing center, I still feel that Master is taking care of me.
I solemnly declare: “Everything I have said and done that does not conform to Dafa is null and void. I will make up for the losses I have caused to Dafa, do the three things well, and go back home with Master.”

Solemn Declaration
I have benefited a lot since I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. Our whole family has benefited from Dafa. However, after the communist regime started the persecution in July 1999, I did things that I should not have done because I did not study the Fa well.
One day, an officer tried to force me to say, “I give up [practicing Falun Dafa].” I refused. The officer pulled my hand and put my fingerprints on three sheets of paper that slandered Dafa.
Once, police arrested the coordinator of our practice site and held him at a police station. They ordered all practitioners to turn in their Dafa books, or otherwise, they would not release the coordinator. I was sentimental and did not look at the issue from the viewpoint of the Fa. I turned in one book; I betrayed Dafa. The police still sent the coordinator to a detention center.
One day, the police came to my home to force me to say, “I give up [practicing Falun Dafa].” They threatened to arrest me if I did not say it. My family also pressured me to say it, as they were afraid of me being taken away. I compromised and said against my will that I would not practice Falun Dafa.
Teacher has given me the opportunity to re-start cultivation. I'm thankful for Teacher's great mercy.
I solemnly declare: “Everything I have said and done that does not conform to Dafa is null and void. I will make up for the losses I have caused to Dafa and be steadfast in cultivating Dafa.”
