(Minghui.org) The annual Moon Festival (Mid-Autumn Festival) was held on August 10, 2013 in Boston's Chinatown. This is the 14th year that local Falun Dafa practitioners have participated in this festival. The practitioners demonstrated the exercises, shared with people about the great benefits of the practice, and exposed the Chinese regime's crimes of forced organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners in China.

Many passersby watched the exercise demonstration and took photos. One elderly lady who was soon returning to Shanghai photographed the practitioners and said, “I'm not afraid of the Chinese Communist regime. I'm going to show these photos to my family and friends.”
Cameraman Evan from the Boston Neighborhood Network filmed practitioners exercising and interviewed them. He learned the importance of traditional Chinese culture and its features.
After hearing the facts about the persecution, one young Chinese man said, “The Tiananmen Massacre happened when I was eight. I knew about Falun Dafa and the persecution, but I didn't know it was so horrific and savage.” He took some fliers so he could tell his friends what was being done to Falun Dafa practitioners in China.
Three people from Hong Kong signed the petition after they learned about the illegal organ harvesting. A political science professor from Virginia signed the petition immediately after reading it and said, “You don't have to explain to me, I know what's going on.” He encouraged the practitioners and asked them, “What more can I do for you?”
One police officer told the practitioners that he had seen them doing the exercises in Chinatown every week, and knew that they were peaceful and kind. After reading the petition and information about the organ harvesting, he signed the petition and said, “I'm on duty now and shouldn't sign anything, but my conscience tells me that I should.”
