(Minghui.org) When I saw the deputy head of the county last autumn, I struck up a conversation with him, then started to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa.
“Mr. Gao, there is something that I've been wanting to tell you about for quite some time now,” I said, “but I haven't seen you for a while. Have you heard that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) will collapse soon?”
“I have not heard that,” replied Mr. Gao, “but I do know that the CCP is very unpopular, and corruption in its ranks is rife.”
“Everything happens according to heaven's will, and heaven will eliminate the CCP,” I continued.
“Xiao Zhang, do you have a belief?” he asked.
“Yes, I believe in the principles of Falun Gong,” I said.
“Aha, you, too, believe in Falun Gong?”
“Yes, I do Mr. Gao, so whatever you do, do not do anything against Falun Gong! It is a very serious matter!”
He replied, “I do not do anything against Falun Gong.”
I told him how the Chinese regime has been persecuting Falun Gong for over a decade, how Falun Dafa has spread to over 100 countries in the world, how it heals people of all sorts of illnesses and diseases, how it helps people keep fit and healthy. I told him that over 80 million Chinese citizens have died of unnatural causes due to the different political campaigns launched by the Party. I also talked about the stone in Guizhou Province that has the characters “Chinese Communist Party is doomed” carved in it by nature, and that the heaven will eliminate the CCP. Mr. Gao listened quietly.
We talked for a long time on the side of the road, then we pushed our bikes while we continued to talk. “I have one more thing that I have to tell you,” I said. We stopped again.
“Heaven will eliminate the Chinese regime, and it won't be long. At that time, all of those who have joined its ranks will be considered part of it, so if a person does not quit the Party and its affiliated organizations, they will be eliminated along with the CCP. Only if you withdraw from all of its organizations will you have a future and avoid this calamity. I want to help you quit the Party. Are you OK with that?”
“Let me think it over,” he replied.
“You're the deputy head of the county,” I said, “I have listened to you in the past. Now, I am a Dafa practitioner and I know a bit more about this issue than you do. So, it is best if you listen to me and quit the Party. Remember, time waits for no one!”
“All right, today I will listen to your advice!” he said.
“OK,” I said, “I will pick an alias for you and help you quit.” He then thanked me.
“Do you have Internet access at home?” I asked. When he told me that he did, I handed him a CD with software on it that would help him break through the Party's Internet firewall and assist him in obtaining true information about what is really going on in China. He was delighted.
He put the CD in his pocket and said, “Xiao Zhang, please pay attention to your personal safety. If you talk to a bad person, you will be in danger.” I thanked him for his concern.
Appreciation from a group of deaf people
I know a fellow practitioner who does a very good job at clarifying the truth face-to-face. Over the years, she has been given away many Shen Yun DVDs, sometimes several dozen a day.
She went to the market one day and took 40 DVDs with her. When she was down to her last few, she noticed a group of deaf people busy making keys and repairing shoes.
At that time, Master's Fa appeared in her mind: "The only thing you have a role in is saving people." ("Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago")
She wrote on a piece of paper: “Do you have DVD player at home?” A husband and a wife indicated that they did. She gave them each a Shen Yun DVD and they were all delighted. They had big smiles on their faces and gave her the thumbs up sign.
There was only one person among them who did not accept the DVD. One woman was very worried for this person, so she went over and gestured to her friend that she should accept the DVD, which she finally did. Everyone waved at the practitioner to show their appreciation.
The practitioner told me that she was filled with gratitude toward Master for saving all those sentient beings.
