(Minghui.org) Today's news from mainland China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 21 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 7 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 19 practitioners were illegally arrested .

1. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Liangmin Taken to Jingshan Reservoir Brainwashing Center

Mr. Liu Liangmin was taken to the Jingshan Reservoir Brainwashing Center on May 20, 2013 by officers from the local domestic security division and Wutu Police Station.

2. [Yanshan County, Hebei Province] Mr. Fu Shousong Disappeared

Mr. Fu Shousong was arrested on 2002. Since then his whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Xinzheng City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Jinpu Sentenced

Ms. Wang Jinpu from Xinzheng City was arrested and later taken to the local detention center on September 19, 2012. Her computer and printer were confiscated. She was sentenced to three years and two months in prison by a judge from Xinzheng City Court recently.

Mr. Li Tinghe from Anbu Town, Chao'an County was taken to the Longkeng Detention Center in Chao'an County on May 16, 2013.

5. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Kong Hongyun Arrested

Ms. Kong Hongyun from Baoding City was arrested on May 17, 2013 by officers from Nanguan Street Police Station. He was then taken to the Baoding City Detention Center and started a hunger strike. He was released on May 22.

Ms. Cui Xianglan was arrested on May 20, 2013 by officers from Tumen City 610 Office and domestic security division. She was taken to Songlin Nursing Home in Shixian Town for brainwashing sessions.

8. [Jintan City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Tang Xiqin Arrested

Ms. Tang Xiqin from Jintan City was arrested on May 21, 2013 when she was distributing truth clarification materials in the street. She was held at Huacheng Police Station in Jintan City. Her home was ransacked.

9. [Taigu County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Han Laiqing Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Ms. Han Laiqing was sentenced to four years in prison on May 8, 2013 by the judge from Xinghualing District Court in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province.

10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Peng Yinxiang Arrested

Ms. Peng Yinxiang was arrested on the afternoon of May 20, 2013.

Ms. Li Qingwen was arrested on the morning of May 22, 2013. She is being held at the local police station.

Ms. Zhou Guanglan was arrested while clarifying the truth at the local market.

13. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Additional Information on the Arrests of Mr. Qiao Shouren and Ms. Li Hua

Mr. Qiao Shouren and Ms. Li Hua from the Lanshan District of Linyi City were arrested by officers from Hongbusi Police Station in the Lanshan District on the evening of May 12, 2013 when they were hanging up a truth clarification banner. They are being held at Chudun Town Detention Center in Luozhuang District, Linyi City.

Ms. Yan Liangru was arrested on May 19, 2013 for requesting the release of 11 lawyers.

15. [Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Tao Baofen Taken to Wuxi City Brainwashing Center

Ms. Tao Baofen, in her 60s, from Xinqiao Town, Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province was arrested while distributing truth clarification materials on May 7, 2013. She was taken to Xinqiao Police Station. Her home was ransacked. She was transferred to Wuxi City Brainwashing Center on May 10, 2013.

16. [Jincheng City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Li Lianying and Ms. Shi Hai'e Arrested

Ms. Li Lianying and Ms. Shi Hai'e from Jincheng City were arrested by officers from Dayang Police Station on May 20, 2013 while distributing truth clarification materials at Dayang Town, Zezhou County.

Ms. Li Lianying was released on the morning of May 21. Ms. Shi is being held at Zezhou County Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang Xiaohua was arrested on the morning of May 20, 2013 by officers from Yangyuan Police Station. She was taken to Erzhigou No.1 Detention Center on the early morning of May 21.

18. [Yiyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Kuang Aimu and Ms. Guo Xueling Arrested

Officers from Yiyang City Police Department and Domestic Security Division burst into the homes of Ms. Kuang Aimu, her son and daughter on May 16, 2013. Their Dafa books, exercises DVDs, Shen Yun DVDs, truth clarification materials, over 12,000 yuan, saving books and other personal belongings were confiscated. Ms. Kuang, in her 80's, was detained for a day and was then released. Her daughter is being held at Yiyang City No.2 Detention Center.

Ms. Guo Xueling was arrested along with them.

19. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Xihui Held for Seven Years

Ms. Li Xihui from the Renmin Broadcasting Station in Sichuan Province was arrested in 2006 and detained at Xinjin Brainwashing Center in Chengdu City for seven years. She was recently transferred to Er'ehu Brainwashing Center in Ziyang City.

20. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Additional News on Ms. Gao Meixiang's Arrest

Ms. Gao Meixiang was arrested and sentenced to one year in Jinan No.1 Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province a year ago. She should have been released on May 20, 2013, but she was taken to Weifang City Brainwashing Center by officials from the Weifang 610 Office.

21. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Ms. Nong Jianhua Arrested

Ms. Nong Jianhua, in her 30s, from Yuetang District in Xiangtan City was arrested on the morning of May 22, 2013 by officers from Shuyuan Road Police Station.

22. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Feng Died as Result of Persecution

Ms. Yu Feng was detained twice at Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City, for one year in 2005 and one year in 2010. She was persecuted severely for refusing to renounce her belief in Falun Gong. During her second time in detention, she started a hunger strike. She was forcibly injected with unknown drugs that caused her to cough severely. Her detention was also extended. She died on May 2, 2013 soon after she was released when she was 61 years old.

23. [Beijing] Ms. Xu Kun Arrested

Ms. Xu Kun was arrested on May 20, 2013 while clarifying the truth at the Niujie area of Beijing. She was taken to Niujie Police Station and her home was ransacked.
