Four Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested in Beijing

(Minghui.org) On May 16, 2013, four Falun Gong practitioners from Beijing went to the Shisanling area to remove some banners hung by the communist regime to slander Falun Gong. They were arrested by police.

The four practitioners were Ms. Zhang Mingxia from Moshikou, Shijingshan District, Mr. Yan Feng from Tongzhou District, Ms. Lin Fuhua, who worked as a tutor in Jiantou Village, Changping District, and Mr. Dabao.

Mr. Yan's home was ransacked on May 17, just one day after the arrest. At the time, only his elderly parents and his young child were at home.

The families and friends of the four practitioners were very worried after their loved ones did not return home. After a lot of effort, they finally found out about the arrest.

Ms. Zhang used to work in a tobacco company in Beijing. She was a very capable worker and was well trusted by the management. Her son is about 15 years old; he has lived in the fear of losing his mother since he was very little due to the persecution.

Ms. Zhang was previously illegally arrested by Shijingshan police on March 7, 2006. She was physically and mentally abused in Section No. 5 of the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp. Because she would not give up her belief, she was was brutally tortured. When her family went to visit her, they saw that she looked very depressed and there were many scars on her body.

Ms. Lin is a very modest and kind woman. She is originally from Xiqing District, Tianjin City, where she worked as a middle school teacher. In May 2002, she was sentenced to four years in prison for practicing Falun Gong. After she was released from prison in May 2006, her family, including her husband and son, cut off all ties with her for fear of being persecuted.

Ms. Lin was sentenced to two years of forced labor in 2009. She was incarcerated in the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp. On January 21, 2010, she was transferred to the Hohhot Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she was even more severely mistreated. She was released on June 29, 2011, and became homeless.

The Changping District 610 Office has been actively involved in brainwashing and persecuting Falun Gong practitioners by other means in Changping District, as well as in other areas. Director Qi Bingrui, deputy director Kang Li, and other staff have committed many crimes against practitioners, including beating and torturing practitioners, ransacking their homes, humiliating and deceiving them, depriving them of sleep, carrying out illegal arrests, forcing practitioners to watch pornographic videos, sending them to force labor camps and prisons, and even torturing them to death.

Please help by calling, texting, or writing to the Beijing Police Department, Changping District Police Station, other police stations in Beijing, and all levels of government agencies and demanding the release of Falun Gong practitioners.
