(Minghui.org) On June 15, 2013, practitioners in the United Kingdom gathered in front of the St. Martin-in-the-Fields church in London's Trafalgar Square to clarify the truth to passersby.
Although it rained for most of the afternoon, practitioners still demonstrated the exercises, handed out brochures, told people about Falun Dafa, and collected signatures condemning the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
Through Dafa practitioners's persistent efforts over the years, many people in London, including international tourists, have come to understand the truth about Falun Gong.

Practitioners collect petition signatures
Although it rained most of the afternoon with periods of heavy showers, U.K. practitioners weren't fazed at all. Often, when a practitioner spoke to a passerby about Dafa or about signing a petition, another practitioner would come over and hold an umbrella for them.
At around 5:00 p.m., a thundershower suddenly struck the area, and practitioners quickly covered their information desk with plastic sheeting. Three practitioners continued doing the fourth exercise, with Dafa music playing in the background.
The heavy downpour caught everyone off guard, and people ran everywhere looking for the nearest shelter. The bustling streets quickly became quiet, save for the sound of the rain and the Falun Dafa exercise music. Seeing the three practitioners standing there in the rain doing the exercises in their Dafa jackets was truly a moving sight!

When the heavy showers finally subsided, four young men approached the Falun Dafa booth. “Can you please tell me what this is all about?” one of them asked. “It looks like you're involved in some human rights campaign, which is exactly what we are doing.”
Practitioners's clarify the truth to four young men from Turkey
It turned out that the young men were from Turkey and were studying in Britain. They were collecting signatures calling for the release of prisoners of conscience in their own home country.
They had never heard of Falun Gong before, so after quickly viewing the display boards, they started asking questions.
After about 30 minutes, the students understood the truth about Falun Gong and signed the petition calling for British MPs to help stop the CCP’s live organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.
Students from Turkey sign the petition
Based on their own experiences with human rights issues in Britain, all of them realized that the Chinese regime had committed unspeakable crimes against humanity. They expressed their appreciation for the practitioners' efforts and said they supported an end to the persecution.
“Under an authoritarian regime, there can be all kinds of persecution,” one of the students explained. “What you are doing is extremely meaningful. Justice should be enforced without hesitation.
“Heavy showers are nothing compared to being tortured or facing death. We are campaigning for human rights without any of these life-threatening factors. Actually, seeing you standing in the rain makes us realize that we should be doing more. These serious human rights violations are not covered by the British press, so we should do more to achieve our goal!"
Many passersby stop to watch the exercise demonstration

After the rain stopped, the sun came out and the Square quickly filled up again. Many people stopped to watch the practitioners doing the fifth exercise, accompanied by the peaceful Dafa music.
They gladly accepted the practitioners' brochures, and most of them signed a petition to help stop the persecution.
