Witnessing the Power of Falun Dafa
When our daughter was born in 1998, she only weighed three pounds and two ounces. Two months after I gave birth, my neighbor highly recommended that I read the book Zhuan Falun.
“You look so weak and tired,” she exclaimed. “Falun Dafa will heal your illnesses, improve your heath, and teach you how to be a good person. Please read the book.” I took her suggestion and read the book from cover-to-cover before going to bed that night.
The following morning, I felt very comfortable walking around, almost as if I was floating on air. I realized that Zhuan Falun was an extraordinary book and that I should treasure it always.
Ten days later, I said to my husband, “Please look after the baby tonight. I am going to learn how to do the Falun Dafa exercises.”
As soon as I finished the second exercise, Falun Standing Stance, I started to throw up. “You must have a predestined relationship with Master,” said a practitioner as she walked over to me. “Although this is your first time doing the exercises, our Master has already started to treat you as a disciple by cleansing your body.”
Before I started practicing Falun Gong, I suffered from etiology, heart disease, and had had a nervous breakdown. In less than a month, all of my health issues were resolved. Moreover, my four-month-old baby looked healthier than ever! It was just like my neighbor said: “Everyone in your family will benefit when you practicing Falun Dafa.”
One day I was riding my bicycle with my daughter sitting behind me. Suddenly, I saw a glass-enclosed wooden cupboard flying towards my face. Apparently, the rope that was used to secure the cupboard to the truck in front of me had broken.
Miraculously, the cupboard appeared to hit an invisible wall and crashed to the ground in front of me, with its broken pieces forming a straight line. The truck driver got out of his vehicle and was dumbstruck, truly speechless! However, I knew what had happened and kept tearfully thinking to myself, “Master, thank you very much! Thank you for saving our lives!”
My Husband Also Awakens
My husband had suffered from lumbago and leg pain since he was 17 years old. He was later diagnosed with femoral head necrosis and was scheduled to have an operation in a few weeks. The hospital fee was about 100,000 yuan, which, to us, was a fortune. However, none of the surgeons could guarantee that the operation would definitely correct his condition.
My husband was extremely distraught when he heard this news. The night before his scheduled surgery, he cried out in pain, “My leg is killing me!” adding, “I want to practice Falun Gong with you!”
I was so happy to hear those words that I couldn't hold back my tears. “However, only if you follow the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and be a good person,” I said, “will our great, compassionate Master help us!”
He agreed, then called the hospital to cancel his surgery. After practicing Falun Gong for about four months, his illness completely disappeared.
All of our relatives had witnessed the changes in our family's health, first hand. “Amazing!” they said. “What Falun Gong has been saying all along is true! We all support Falun Gong now!”
