(Minghui.org) Ms. Xiong Bozhen, who has been missing for many days, is presently imprisoned at the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center in Wuchang.
Ms. Xiong from Wuhan City is a former barber at the Wuhan Watch Factory and she has been unemployed for many years. She lived at the singles' dormitory at the Wuhan Watch Factory in a newly built community on Shuiguohu Street. Because the dormitory is being demolished and relocated, on April 23, 2013 Ms. Xiong went to the community office to apply for rental assistance. However, the person in charge, Huang Haiyan, Security Office director Zhu Jianfeng and the clerk handling the rental assistance program forcibly restrained Ms. Xiong at the office and notified the special agent of the Shuiguohu Street 610 Office, Xiao Zuoshuang, who was in charge of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, deputy director Meng Ling of the Dongting Police Station, and neighborhood policeman Xiao Zhankun, to come to the office. They forcibly took Ms. Xiong to the Dongting Police Station on Shuiguohu Street and detained her there.
After much inquiry, it was revealed that Ms. Xiong had been taken by Huang Haiyan and Zhu Jianfeng to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center in Wuchang.
Ms. Xiong has been persecuted multiple times over the past ten-plus years by the communist regime for persisting in her belief in Falun Dafa and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. In the beginning of 2000, Ms. Xiong went to Tiananmen Square to speak out for Dafa and was taken back to Wuhan by local police. She was then taken by police from the Dongting Police Station to Wuhan Women's Detention Center located inside the Baofeng Women's Prison where she was imprisoned for one month, and was then bailed out by the Wuhan Watch Factory.
At the end of 2000, Ms. Xiong was reported while distributing truth-clarifying materials. She was once again taken by officers from Dongting Police Station to Wuhan Women's Detention Center. After one month of detention, she was taken to the Hewan Women's Forced Labor Camp in Wuhan City and brutally tortured. She was imprisoned at the labor camp for one year.
On February 26, 2004 Ms. Xiong went to practitioner Ms. Chen Xiaohua's apartment to obtain truth-clarifying materials. She was tracked by the community police and security guards and didn't notice until she was almost home that there were security guards waiting to arrest her and they were also following her. She was thus forced to become homeless and destitute for many years.
Ms. Xiong is currently being persecuted once again just for applying for rental assistance.
