Additional Persecution News from China – March 30, 2013 (9 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from mainland China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 5 provinces. According to this report, 7 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 7 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yi Xueming Arrested

Mr. Yi Xueming was arrested on the afternoon of March 28, 2013.

2. [Pingding County, Shanxi Province] Mr. Lu Linsen Detained

Mr. Lu Linsen was arrested by officers from the Pingding Police Department on the afternoon of March 22, 2013. He is being held in the Pingding Detention Center.

3. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Sent to Brainwashing Center

Four practitioners were arrested and taken to the Langfang Brainwashing Center on March 5, 2013, by officers from the Sanhe City Domestic Security Division. The practitioners were: Mr. Yu Jinye, Ms. Sui, Ms. Yu Guixiang, and Mr. Wang Xiaoxuan.

Mr. Yu and Ms. Sui have been released. Ms. Yu has been transferred to Penglai City in Shandong Province. Mr. Wang is still detained at the brainwashing center.

4. [Xintai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Shi Jinqing Arrested

Mr. Shi Jinqing from Qingyun Street, Dazhuma Village, was arrested by officers from the local Domestic Security Division on March 10, 2013. His current whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Han Jing Arrested

Ms. Han Jing was arrested on the train while on her way to Shenyang City on the morning of March 28, 2013. Her whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Meng Qingquan Detained

Mr. Meng Qingquan was arrested on the train while returning to Xuzhou City from Nanjing City, because he carried some Falun Gong materials. He is being held in the Xuzhou Railway Detention Center.

7. [Yanggu County, Shandong Province] Ms. Yue Caixia Arrested

Ms. Yue Caixia from Yanggu County was arrested by officers from the Yanggu Political and Legal Affairs Committee and Bojiqiao Police Station around midday on March 29, 2013.

8. [Tonghe County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Min and His Wife Detained

Mr. Li Min and his wife, Ms. Zhang Xiaodan, from Tonghe County were arrested on March 12, 2013. Police confiscated 12,000 yuan in cash, two printers, one DVD writer, and two computers.

Ms. Zhang was released after 15 days in detention. She was forced to pay 10,000 yuan in cash. Mr. Li is being held in Tonghe County Detention Center.

9. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Huo Baochun and Ms. Hao Shuxia Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Huo Baochun and Ms. Hao Shuxia, both from the Qianfeng residential area in Anci District, were arrested by officers from the Anci District Police Department while they distributed Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in the Longhe residential area. They are being held in the Langfang Brainwashing Center.
