On the evening of May 10, 2013, Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Dai Juzhen (63 years old) and Ms. Peng Xuemei (43 years old) from Dongxihu District, Wuhan City posted informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong and did not return home that night. They had both been unlawfully arrested by officers from the Wujiashan Street Police Station in Dongxihu District. Currently they are detained at the First Detention Center in Wuhan City.
Dai Juzhen and Peng Xuemei have been practicing Falun Gong for a year or two. Dai Juzhen had many illnesses including high blood pressure, rectal cancer and a serious heart disease. In 2011, she had heart surgery and was given an "artificial heart." When the doctor said she would need further surgery, Dai Juzhen felt she would not live beyond 2012. But after Dai Juzhen learned Falun Gong all her illnesses disappeared within a short time. She had also suffered from bronchitis, asthma and other diseases before practicing Falun Gong, but these illnesses went away as well.
Dai Juzhen and Peng Xuemei benefited from Falun Dafa physically and mentally. Seeing this great cultivation slandered by the CCP and its United Fronts Propaganda Department, they felt a responsibility to inform the public about this unlawful persecution. Now they have been arrested and detained. Their relatives are also very worried for their safety.
