(From Tianjin) I have been involved in toxic work since I began to work at the age of 20. I suffered an aneurysm and cerebral hemorrhage when I was 30. Doctors operated and opened my cranium twice, which caused me to be disabled. My family took on a huge debt to pay my medical bills. Unable to bear such a financial burden, my parents passed away one after another.
I developed uremia four years ago and underwent dialysis. By 2011, I was undergoing dialysis twice a week. The cost for this was about 30,000 to 40,000 yuan a year. I depended on relatives to pay my medical bills. I felt my life was no longer worth living. I was almost 50 and had been sick for 20 years.
In 2012, I visited my uncle during the Chinese New Year and told him about my weekly dialysis. He gave me a copy of Zhuan Falun and advised me to read it when I got back home. He told me to respect Master and the Fa and talked about the truth of Falun Dafa. Returning home, I read the book and realized that our human suffering was for the sins we have committed in this and previous lifetimes. I understood that the purpose of being human is to return to our true selves. I read the book every day. The more I read, the more I like to read the book.
My symptoms of uremia disappeared in eight months, and I no longer needed dialysis and medication. I now have energy. I did not know what it was like to be free of illness. From the bottom of my heart, I honor Master, for Master gave me a new life. I want to tell my story to everyone I meet and tell them that “Falun Dafa is good.”
Son Fully Recovered After the Whole Family Began to Study Falun Dafa
(From China) My sister-in-law often advised me to study Falun Dafa well. However, I would study with enthusiasm for about three minutes, and slack off after I actively studied for a couple of days.
My youngest son is seven. Since he was born, he would get sick every two weeks. In September 2011, he was constantly feverish and his face had a yellowish cast. We sent him to a hospital for an examination and test results indicated he had anemia. The doctor suggested we take him to a hospital in the provincial capital for further tests, because he had such a severe anemia at a young age. My sister-in-law advised me not to forget to recite “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good”, and to ask for Master's help.
My son was very sick at that time. His fever lingered and he was drowsy. I whispered in his ear: “Master, please help the child! Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I kept whispering. My son's fever disappeared by 4 p.m. and he had energy after a blood transfusion. The test results showed iron-deficiency anemia. We bought him iron supplements when we returned home.
I thought the crisis had passed, but my son's face turned yellowish again in September 2012. He underwent a comprehensive examination. The final diagnosis was pulmonary hemosiderosis. The university doctor said this was only the third case she had seen and relapses often occur. My son would have to take medicine his whole life. The doctor prescribed medication and told us to have regular follow-up exams.
The whole family was depressed. I finally became clear-minded. I said to my family: “Only Master can save him. There is no other way except to cultivate Falun Dafa.” With my sister-in-law's help, we started a Fa-study group soon after. The whole family studied the Fa diligently and strictly followed the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Many practitioners studied the Fa and shared with us. They advised us: “Study the Fa well and miracles will happen.”
My son's face turned rosy the third day. We went to the hospital for a follow-up. A miracle really happened. The university doctor was shocked when she looked at the test results. She said: “His recovery was so quick!” On the way home, I kept thanking Master for giving my son a second life. We cannot fully express in words how much we appreciate Master's grace. I have written down what happened and want to say: “Falun Dafa is good. Falun Dafa is really miraculous.”
