(Minghui.org) On Saturday May 11, Falun Gong practitioners in San Diego gathered at La Jolla Beach to celebrate the May 13 World Falun Dafa Day. They did the Falun Gong exercises, talked to passers-by about Falun Gong and the persecution in China, and wished Master Li, the founder of Falun Gong, a happy birthday.

The practitioners set up large banners that read, “Falun Dafa is great,” “World Falun Dafa Day,” and, “Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.”
They had a group photo taken under a large banner that read, “Greetings, Master” to express their reverence for Master Li.
The peaceful group practice scene drew the attention of people passing by. Some who lived nearby said they would come to learn the exercises the next day.
The practitioners also set up informational poster boards to explain the facts about Falun Gong and expose the brutal persecution taking place in China.
A young Chinese person accompanied by his parents stopped in front of the posterboards. A practitioner talked with them and advised them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for a safe future. All three people agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Many passersby read the posterboards and took flyers exposing the CCP’s live organ harvesting of imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners. One person remarked, “Such a horrific thing should never happen!”
Six young tourists from Italy passed by and became very serious after reading the posters. They read the flyers and listened to a practitioner's explanation of the facts. Before leaving, they expressed appreciation for the practitioners' efforts and said that they would sign the petition on the website against the CCP's organ harvesting crimes.
