(Minghui.org) Practitioners from across Poland gathered on the bank of the Vistula River, in the City of Krakow, on May 2-5, 2013, to introduce Falun Dafa to both locals and tourists alike. They displayed truth-clarification boards with information about the practice and the ongoing persecution in China. Practitioners prepared flyers in many languages, and set up a table to collect signatures calling for an end to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong.

Despite the heat and rain, many people signed a petition in support of Falun Gong
Each May, tourists flock to the ancient city of Krakow, with its Renaissance-style buildings, peach flowers in bloom, and elegant white swans. Local attractions include Wawel Mountain, the Cathedral, and the Wawel Castle—which was once home to ancient Polish kings.
Many passerby signed the petition after viewing the Falun Gong display boards. Some people expressed anger towards the Chinese Communist regime, and some gasped in horror, unable to comprehend why Chinese citizens would be persecuted for practicing Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Entire families and large tourist groups stood in line waiting to sign the petition. Many asked, “Can we sign our names more than once?” Some asked, “What else can we do to help stop this persecution?”
One man said, “I first heard about Falun Gong in Germany and signed a petition while there. I'd like to sign it again here. I hope this tragedy will end soon. It's awful and must stop immediately!”
Two mainland Chinese said, “We heard about Falun Gong while in China. We already quit the Party and hope that it will collapse very soon. Falun Gong is great!”
A young Chinese lady sincerely explained, “I'm not very clear about Falun Gong. I need to do a search online, something I've not been able to do in China. If what you're saying is true, I will have lost my last thread of hope for the CCP. I'm a member and these past years I have been extremely disappointed in it.
“If the Party really did authorize the removal of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, I will surely distance myself from this evil. I cannot condone such actions, nor do I want to be held complicit in its crimes, because that would be the same as humiliating myself! Thank you for the copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and the booklet, 'The CCP's Organ Harvesting from Live Falun Gong Practitioners.' I will go through them carefully.”
After reading one of the brochures, a girl from Finland helped distribute fliers for several days in a row, despite the heat and rain. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance really did touch the lives of many people!
By May 5, the last day of the four-day event, almost 1,700 people had signed the petition.
