(Minghui.org) During his recent three-day visit to Israel, Falun Gong practitioners called on U.S. President Obama to help stop the 14-year-long persecution in China and the Communist regime's crimes of organ harvesting.

Displaying large banners, the Israeli practitioners gathered on March 20, 2013, for a peaceful appeal in front of the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv. Later that day, they held a peaceful protest in front of the Chinese Embassy. Contrary to previous protests in which Chinese Embassy's personnel would shut themselves in, this time several of them came out to the terrace to look at the banners.

Many passersby asked for informational flyers in various languages, and practitioners explained to them about the opportunity they have to take a stand and say "No!" to this crime against humanity. Once the persecution in China ends, there will only remain the question, "What did you do in those years of persecution? Did you say even a single word against it?" People thanked the practitioners for this opportunity.

The only person who seemed reluctant was an English-speaking Chinese person. When he was offered a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, he refused to take it. When he was told that “Falun Dafa is good,” he answered, "But I am a communist!" The practitioner then asked him, "Can't you be a good person if you are a communist?" He just stared silently.

Israeli practitioners hope their efforts will help more government leaders and more people in general become aware of the atrocities taking place in China and do what is in their power to help bring them to an end.
