(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 8 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 12 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Mr. Chen Xinye and Mr. Han Chunlong faced trial on April 12 at the Zhenxing District Court in Dandong City.

2. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Tao Tianzhen Detained for Five Months
Huaguoyuan Police Station deputy chief Wang Bo, together with neighborhood committee officers (Qin Li and Li Qianrong), arrested Ms. Tao Tianzhen on the evening of November 7, 2012. They confiscated her computer, a printer, and Falun Gong books from her home.
Ms. Tao was sent to the Nanming District Detention Center and has been held there since then. When her family tried to visit her, they were turned away.

3. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Ma Yunhua Sent to Xuanpingyuan Brainwashing Center
Ms. Ma Yunhua has been missing for many days. It was recently learned that she was sent to the Xuanpingyuan Brainwashing Center on March 25.
4. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Huang Yindi Detained
When Ms. Huang Yindi clarified the truth on the afternoon of April 6, a retired worker reported her to the police. Jiujiang City Police Department patrol officers arrested her and held her at the Yaojiawa Detention Center.
5. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wei Xiurong Arrested
Ms. Wei Xiurong was arrested on the morning of April 7, 2013 at the Ziyang Railway Station.
6. [Huaiyang County, Henan Province] Four Practitioners Still Detained
Five practitioners from Huanyang County were recently arrested. One woman practitioner has returned home, but the others (Ms. Zhang Li, Mr. He Linhai, Mr. Li Jinzhang, and Ms. Yu Jingsi) are still detained.
7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Detained
Caiyu Street Police Station officers arrested Ms. Song Yufen on the evening of April 1 and ransacked her home. The police also arrested four other practitioners from the Yuanding Garden Community and ransacked their homes. These five practitioners are now being held at the Weizigou Detention Center.

8. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Four Practitioners Detained
Four practitioners, Ms. Duan Fengqin, Ms. Li Caiyun, Ms. Huan Wen, and Ms. Jin Xiang, went to Peng Village in Wanbolin District on the afternoon of April 6. Police arrested them and held them at the Wanbolin Police Station.
9. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Peng Wenling Facing Trial
Ms. Peng Wenling, a practitioner in her 60s, went to Luotian County to distribute informational materials about Falun Gong in May 2012. Luotian Police Department officers arrested her and have detained her since then. The Luotian Court planned to hold a trial for her on April 10.

10. [Huaiyang County, Henan Province] Mr. He Linhai and Mr. Li Jinchang Detained
Three police officers arrested practitioners Mr. He Linhai and Mr. Li Jinchang from Lincai Town, both 50 years old, and confiscated a computer and Falun Gong books. These two practitioners are currently being held at the Huaiyang Detention Center.
11. [Fufeng County, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Yao Wenhui and Mr. Tian Zhiyao Still Detained
Fufeng County police arrested the following practitioners in August 3, 2012: Mr. Feng Xinxiang, Mr. Yao Wenwhui, Mr. Feng Cunlu, and Mr. Tian Zhiyao. The Fufeng Court secretly tried them on December 5, sentencing each of them from one to two and a half years of imprisonment. All of the practitioners planned to appeal.
The Fufeng Court released Mr. Feng Cunlu and Mr. Feng Xinxiang on December 28. Mr. Tian Zhiyao’s family appealed to the Baoji City Intermediate Court, but the judges upheld the original sentence. Mr. Yao Wenhui and Mr. Tian Zhiyao are still being held at the Fufeng Detention Center.
