(Minghui.org) The general public in China has been deceived by the government's propaganda since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, which defames this spiritual practice using the state-run media. In order to clarify the truth about Falun Gong, our local practitioners, like millions of others in China, have been traveling around nearby districts, counties, and villages to distribute informational materials. We have experienced Master's guidance and protection the entire time while on our trips. The following are a few examples of the many miracles that happened to protect us from danger.
Special Bus Just for Us
One day in the summer 2005, several practitioners and I went to a remote village to distribute some materials. As we were unfamiliar with the roads there, it was already after 8:00 p.m. when we finished our distribution. It had been a while since the last bus, and there were no taxis in this remote area. Walking back home would take us at least one and a half hours. However, after walking the whole afternoon, we were all very tired, longing for a vehicle to show up, although we knew it was quite unlikely.
Suddenly, a bus came towards us from distance. We couldn't believe it, but just tried our luck by waving to the driver. Surprisingly, the driver stopped the bus right in front of us and invited us in. It was the very bus we needed to take to return home. We boarded the bus, thanking the driver and asking why he had come after the last scheduled bus. He told us that he happened to have something to do on this route after he had returned from the last trip, and seeing us waving, he decided to pick us up. In the end, he drove us to a stop close to our homes.
We believe it was a special bus that had been sent by our Master.
“Tour Guide” in a Corn Maze
One day in July 2007, we were on our way back home after distributing materials in several villages. When we arrived at a corn field of about four square kilometers, we decided to cross the field, which would save us a lot of time, instead of going around it. However, the field became a real maze once we entered it, as the corn stalks extended above our heads and we totally lost our way. Half an hour later, we couldn't even find where we had entered.
It was around dinner time, and we didn't see anyone around to ask for directions. In desperation, we asked Master for help. After five or six minutes, we saw a 12-year-old boy coming toward us on a bicycle. When we asked him the way out, the boy simply told us to follow him. We walked out of the corn maze within 15 minutes.
We thanked the boy for his help. He simply said “bye-bye” and rode to the village ahead.
Financial Provision
The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners was most severe between 1999 and 2002. My wife, who's also a practitioner, went to Beijing to appeal three times and was detained five times as a result. I was not only dismissed from my job, but was also watched by assigned personnel. I was arrested several times due to my appeal in Beijing. Moreover, our workplaces garnished our salaries without legitimate reason or discussions with us. For example, my wife and I were “robbed” of over 4,000 yuan in 2001 alone.
The financial persecution worsened our already difficult family situation. However, in those years, I was honored as “outstanding correspondent” for a popular newspaper from which I have been writing as an amateur reporter, and rewarded with 2,000 yuan each year. It was surprising, not only because I was merely an amateur writer, but also because I had only provided a dozen articles to the newspaper each year – which was not many for a big newspaper.
I believe Master had arranged this financial support for me during my period of being persecuted.
A Stranger Gives Us a Ride
One day in October 2007, several practitioners and I went to a mountainous village to distribute materials. On the way back, we went a different way and encountered a stream of about ten meters wide. The stream was about one meter deep, very stony at the bottom, and very cold as it was late autumn. As we had to walk a long way after crossing the stream, our pants would be all wet if we tried to walk across it, so we were stuck. We thought of Master again.
Ten minutes later, a big tractor appeared before us as if out of nowhere. We walked up and asked the driver to give us a ride to the other side of the stream. The 40-year-old farmer was happy to help. After crossing the stream, he kept driving and asked where we were heading to. We told him that we could walk, but he insisted, “It's on my way. I can give you a ride to your bus stop.” So he drove through two villages and another four kilometers on the main road to drop us off at our stop. We could not find adequate words to thank him, but asked him to remember “Falun Dafa is good” and “those who treat Dafa well are blessed.”
Fending off a Lynx with an Umbrella
We took a trip to a village to distribute truth-clarification materials in August 2008. On the way back, my wife and I had to walk along a long grassy lane through a large fruit orchard. I walked at the front, and somehow my wife ended up far behind me.
Suddenly a cat-like animal jumped out of the tall grass and attacked me. Having no time to think, I used a small folding umbrella to protect myself. Fast and vicious, the lynx was trying to hurt me with its sharp teeth and claws. The animal kept attacking me for several minutes with numerous jumps. I had only the small plastic umbrella to protect myself. In the end, the animal paused to catch its breath, and I moved to a spot on the roadside that made its attacks difficult. I began sending forth righteous thoughts to send it away.
After it ran away I checked my umbrella and found it was broken and covered in rips. However, I was not injured, and my short-sleeved shirt and light pants were not damaged at all. How amazing that a fragile umbrella could protect me from a wild animal's attack!
I believe that no evil forces can stop Falun Dafa practitioners from spreading the truth of Falun Gong and the persecution. Having developed strong faith in the righteousness of Falun Dafa through Falun Dafa practitioners constantly clarifying the truth, everyday people want to assist and protect Falun Dafa practitioners.
