(Minghui.org) Mr. Yu Wei, a young practitioner from Weifang City, Shandong Province, was arrested in 2012 while he was preparing for his upcoming wedding. He was sentenced to forced labor for the third time, and has been detained in the Seventh Team of Shandong Province Second Labor Camp. He was once locked up in solitary confinement for seven days.

Wang Baohua is the captain of the Seventh Team. The team's political instructor was transferred from the Second Team. Another primary perpetrator in charge of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners is officer Wang Xinjiang, ID number 3731215, who was born in 1971 in Xue'an Village, Chengguan Town, Linyi County, Dezhou City, Shandong Province, and currently resides in Jinan City.

Mr. Yu remains steadfast in his belief in the principles of Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance, and refuses to "transform." He resists doing slave labor. Officers Wang Baohua and Wang Xinjiang see Mr. Yu as a major foe and focus on finding excuses to persecute him. Wang Xinjiang often goes to the cells of detained practitioners and tries to pick verbal fights. He then finds an excuse to persecute them.

Wang Bohua and Wang Xinjiang yelled at Mr. Yu in August 2012 for not doing the slave labor. They dragged him out of his cell, intending to lock him up in solitary confinement. As Wang Baohua dragged his arms and Wang Xinjiang and the political instructor pushed his back, Mr. Yu kept talking and trying to persuade them not to commit crimes, but the three officers refused to listen to any reasoning from Mr. Yu. While he was in solitary, Mr. Yu was given only a small steamed bun for each meal and no other food. He was also under around the clock video surveillance. The cell was so small that he could only sit or lie down. He had to eat and use the toilet in the cell. The guards took shifts monitoring the cell, even at night. The goal was to soften up practitioners' strong wills and coerce them to write a guarantee statement, so that the guards could get bonuses.

During the seven days of Mr. Yu's solitary confinement, officer Wang Xinjiang attempted many times in vain to entice and threaten him, but because Mr. Yu remained steadfast and calm despite all the tricks, persecuting Mr. Yu turned into a tribulation for the guards themselves. The guards had to take shifts to monitor Mr. Yu so their rest time was reduced compared with other camp guards. After six days without seeing any results, the guards saw no benefit in continuing the intense persecution of Mr. Yu. Therefore, captain Wang Baohua reported to the labor camp authorities that Mr. Yu was a key person, a very difficult case, and that it would negatively influence the rest of the Seventh Team if they continued detaining Mr. Yu there. At Wang Baohua's request, Mr. Yu was transferred on the seventh day of his solitary confinement to the First Team. At the time, the captain of the First Team was Luo Guangrong, who used to be the captain of the Seventh Team. Luo Guangrong was born in Hengtai County, Zibo City, Shandong Province, and currently resides in Mingshui of Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province.
