One day my mom and I visited a relative and he gave me a copy of Zhuan Falun to read while I was there. As I was in a rush to leave, I only read a few pages before going home. But the words "Falun Gong" left a deep impression in my heart. Soon enough, I went with my mom to visit him again. This time he said:"The book Zhuan Falun has just been published, so please have a read." So while sitting on his bed I began to read it carefully. When I was only half way through reading Lun Yu, Teacher began purifying my body. I felt my mind was empty, my body had elevated and I felt very pure. From then, I became a dedicated Falun Dafa practitioner.
At that time, I was 15 years old. Every day after I finished my homework, I'd read Zhuan Falun. From childhood, I had several diseases that were hard to cure. All my illnesses disappeared after I began to practice. I understood that it was Teacher cleaning up my body, and he had suffered for me some of what I was supposed to endure. As my family members didn't practice, I didn't have the opportunity of doing the exercise in a group, nor could I study the Fa or share my experiences with them, so I ended up cultivating alone. However, since I began to practice Falun Gong, I have been very firmMaster Said:
"Zhen-Shan-Ren is the Sole Criterion to Discern Good and Bad People" (Zhuan Falun)
Master Li teaches us to measure ourselves with the standards of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, speak the truth, do things truthfully, do not lie to others, treat others kindly, think for others, think about if others can endure it beforehand when doing things, be humble, tolerant, and not get into conflicts with others. Since the beginning of my cultivation, I have been holding myself to Teacher's requirements, so I went from someone at school who was a troublemaker to a good student who paid attention to teachers, didn't lie, and got along very well with others. Someone said to me, "If you hadn't practiced Falun Gong, I'd hate to think what you'd have been like."
Since 1999, under the Jiang regime, the evil CCP (Chinese Communist Party) began to persecute Falun Gong. The CCP controlled media had been broadcasting 24/7 slandering Teacher Li and Dafa on TV, in the newspapers and the radio stations. In order to cover up their lies, the regime gathered all the Dafa books together and burned them, thereby preventing Chinese people from knowing the truth about Falun Gong. People who didn't know about Falun Gong, could only believe in the lies as their source of information. As a result, the Chinese people began to have hatred and mistrust towards Falun Gong practitioners. Prior to 1999 I had been living on campus, and didn't know what was going on in the outside world. All I could do was firm up my mind, but I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Out of fear, my father was afraid that I'd be persecuted too and he tried to force me to give up cultivation. However, as a practitioner who had benefited so much from Dafa, how could I possibly turn away because of the persecution!
Later my mother found some Falun Dafatruth-clarification materials in our mailbox. It gave us a way to break thru the internet blockade, and I was able to browse the Minghui website. When seeing the picture of Teacher sitting on the mountain after the persecution began, my tears flowed down my face. I eagerly read Teacher's Fa lectures and came to truly understand what Fa-rectification disciples cultivation was. When Teacher and Dafa were wronged, as his disciples, we should step forward to validate the Fa, clarify the facts and expose the lies. After that, I bought a printer and began to print truth-clarification materials to hand out.
Almost every time I came home from handing out truth-clarification materials, my mom had tears in his eyes. I knew that she worried about me. My mom said, "You know that Dafa is wonderful. That's good enough, practice it at home, don't go outside." I said to her, "Teacher is innocent, Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa, and Jiang's regime made up lies to try to deceive the Chinese people so they would hate Falun Gong. I went out to clarify the facts to help save sentient beings who had been deceived by lies.
My mom had breast cancer, and when she was having a bone scan, the doctors found she had developed serious reduction in her bone marrow. As a result, the blood cells produced by her own body were at a low level, so her life was at risk at all times.
I brought Zhuan Falun to her, and hoped that she would practice with me. From that time on, she has been reading the book very carefully. When she finished reading Teacher's Fa for the first time, she was in good spirits and felt that she had gained strength all over her body. Accordingly, she stopped taking all the medications. After her relatives and friends learned about that, they all felt that Teacher Li was truly wonderful and firmly believed in the miraculousness of Dafa. Now my mom has been in the Fa for more than ten years, and often says, “Without Teacher, I wouldn't be alive today. My new life was granted by Teacher.
Now my mom and I have been studying the Fa together, doing the exercises, and validating the Fa, clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings. We are doing our best to best to save people who are still poisoned by the CCP lies, and we hope people will understand how wonderful Dafa is, quickly withdraw from the Party's organizations, and choose a bright future for themselves and their family members.
