Solemn Declaration

I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. After the persecution of Falun Dafa began in 1999, I lost my job in the banking sector and all my savings, and was not allowed to travel abroad. I was arrested several times, sentenced to forced labor, and taken to a brainwashing center and to a psychiatric hospital.

Due to the persecution, I was forced to write the three statements to renounce Falun Gong.

I succumbed because my understanding of the Fa was very shallow and I did not let go of my attachments to human emotion and self interests. On behalf of my family I even signed the “assistance in 'transforming' statement.” Due to a lack of clear thinking, I once destroyed and discarded Falun Dafa books, betrayed other practitioners, interfered with their cultivation, was attached to reading fake teachings, and did other unrighteous things that betrayed Falun Dafa.

I solemnly declare that everything I have ever said, written, or done when I was persecuted that does not conform to the principles of Dafa and damages the reputation of Master and Dafa is null and void.

I will resume practicing Dafa, firmly cultivate in Dafa, save sentient beings, fully negate the old forces' arrangements, follow the requirements of Master, do the three things well, and be a genuine Dafa practitioner in the Fa-rectification period.

Solemn Declaration

I was arrested by officers from the local police station in mid-October when I was teaching my students. They took me to the 610 Office brainwashing center. During the month I was held there, I gradually lost my righteous thoughts and behaved based on my human attachments. I could not let go of my emotional attachments to my family and daughter and was afraid of cutting off the source of my family's income. Hence, against my conscience, I once wrote disrespectful words about Master and Dafa under pressure.

To get released from the brainwashing center as soon as possible, I wrote a guarantee statement that betrayed Dafa against my conscience. After I was released and went back to work, I was forced to write the so-called “learning experience statement.”

I let Master and Dafa down. I solemnly declare that the guarantee statement that I wrote and everything I said or wrote in the brainwashing center that is disrespectful to Master and Dafa are null and void. Everything I have ever said or written in my work unit that is against Dafa is null and void.

I will continue to cultivate in Dafa well, follow the path arranged by Master, do the three things well, make up for the losses that I have caused to Dafa, and correct my past mistakes.
