(Minghui.org) Mr. Ma Yongxian, 46, was illegally arrested at his cellular phone shop around 10 a.m. on September 23, 2013. Oficers from the Yanning County and Nanbu County Domestic Security Division carried out the arrest.
Two undercover officers first showed up at the shop and interrogated Mr. Ma. Several police cars from Yanning County then arrived. The police arrested Mr. Ma and confiscated several bags worth of his personal belonging, including his computer, printer, copier and other work-related equipment. They also took away his motorcycle, a bag full of cell phones, his ID and 1,500 yuan in cash.
Mr. Ma has been incarcerated at the Yanning County Detention Center.
Home Ransacked
At noon on the day of his arrest, five undercover officers from Yanning County and Nanbu County ransacked Mr. Ma's home. No one was home at the time.
The officers turned the house upside down, breaking drawers and dumping all Falun Gong books onto the floor. They confiscated two portraits of the founder of Falun Gong, as well as Mr. Ma's TV, his wife’s ID, and two bank documents authorizing transactions worth 20,500 yuan.
Officers from Nanbu County stayed at Mr. Ma's house the entire night. As the neighbors looked out of their window that night, they saw two people in Mr. Ma’s home attempting to arrest his wife.
